Fits great
Was a little worried about fitment but it snaps in perfectly. Included a picture of old and new one installed

Great fit for GE DWSR483EB2WW
I think it fits many of GE’s dryers. This is the traditional style, with no window, and the controls at the back of the top. It has the wire mesh screen, which is concaved inward a bit, which causes it to fill up faster than the old one. I’ve been using it for about a month, and it is flattening out some with time. I replaced because the old one’s frame started to crack, and once it did, it cracked in several places, quickly. It had also yellowed. When I got this one, it’s bright white frame looks better with my white dryer. Frame fits well. There are some little guide pieces that help it snap snugly to the dryer. They often pop out of place, bowing the frame out slightly, from the opening on the dryer, when I remove the lint. But it pops right back into place with a slight push and stays snug during drying. Fits better than the original did, before it started cracking. Very happy with it. It shipped in a well fitted cardboard box with no damage and arrived quickly.

Won't stay seated in the detent of the dryer
Plastic bows out from the upper face of the lint collector causing a gap at the top of the device and allowing lint to escape.

Dryer lint trap
I sent the number from the old torn one and ordered and it fits like a glove, no more snagging clothes out of the dryer!!!

Great replacement
The original was in bad shape and this was a perfect replacement especially for the cost

Bottom lip does not curl back, so coins and other debris falls into vent when filter removed
The bottom lip of the original lint filter curled back so that it caught coins and other debris that kids or others left in their pockets.. The lint filter I'm reviewing does not have that, so the first time I used it, a coin that was hidden by the lint fell into the vent when I removed the filter to clean the lint off it. I started looking at all the replacement filters available on Amazon for my model dryer and they all appear not to have an actual lip, although some might be more "lipped" than others. Even the manufacturer's replacement doesn't have the full lip like the original equipment. I may try another brand, but my suggestion to you is to carefully look at each filter before you buy one, if you have folks in your household who forget to remove coins and such from their clothes. Or be ever so more careful checking pockets! The material quality of this one is OK, but the design is flawed.
