Let's Learn Hebrew Picture Dictionary Hardcover – February 21, 2003

I am an advanced adult learner of Hebrew and a former teacher. This book is absolutely delightful. The pictures are bright and colorful and the Hebrew is both in Hebrew with vowels and transliterated. Adults and kids alike will love this useful book.

WONDERFUL!!!!! This is such a fantastic book!! Great illustrations! Translations and transliterations are all together in one place. It also includes a good amount of action verbs (look, read, write, sleep, etc.). This is fantastic to read to your children or even adults!

A very informative detailed book, with easy to understand translations. The romanization, Hebrew script and their English counterparts provide a great overall understanding of the words.A great book.

A lot like the Usborne series: Various "scenes" are shown (inside the house, on the farm. All the items in the scene are displayed along the side of the picture,and labeled with the Hebrew spelling, the pronounciation and the English translation. In addition to the English-Hebrew Glossary and Index, there also is a really nice feature: a TRANSLITERATED Hebrew-English Glossary and Index, so if you are looking for words that begin with a particular Hebrew sound, you can look up the word (and page number) that way.

I purchased the book to learn and to teach my son Hebrew. It’s a must have for anyone learning Hebrew.

I bought this for myself to help increase my vocabulary as I take a Hebrew class. I am delighted with the variety of words, all presented in context. This would be great for children too.
