I love this little lamp with its in - line switch. It's lightweight & neat. You don't have to faff around with batteries or remember to charge it up as it works on the mains. I don't have to have it within reaching distance of the bed because it came with two little remote controls - also with batteries in. Although there's not much difference between the three light levels, there's lots of choice of colours. There's not much difference between some of the colours either, but that's ok too. I do think when eventually - if eventually the light bulb burns out, I should be able to replace it as the silicone squishy lampshade will come off (I've not tried it though). This is safe & robust to have in children's rooms. Just don't lose the remote or you can't change the colour setting without it. I recommend.

I am writing this review to help anyone in doubt.My 7 year old boy suffers nightmares and is terrified of dark. We had ordinary lamp switched on all night and it was to bright and unsafe to have it on for that long.I searched it for safe method and this came accros.Decided to take a leap of faith and glad I did.Lamp is small which is perfectMade of wood and silicon top which does not get hot.Remote control is really handy and all the settings are easily adjustable.It gives just good enough amount of light in the room and does not wakes one up. I am very light sensitive and I slept with that on last night without being woken up by brightnes. I felt rested in the morning and light did not interfere with my or my child body clock.I will buy spare bulbs and hopefully it will serve us for a long time.Definitely worth it to give a try if you need a continuous light for safety in the bedroom at night.Well made, serves it purpose, easy and safe to use for kids or adults.

I got this for son # (aged 5 at the time) as he liked a light on at night-time. This light dims really well so you can leave it on all night. There is a great range of colours that would keep any kid happy. I would say its not a light that a child could read with, its not bright enough so definitely consider it a "night-light" and not a reading lamp. The design is really cute and sturdy (its been pushed and knocked countless times by the kids...). Was so happy with this light, that after a few months got a 2nd one for my other child. 3 years later, the lights are still going strong.

A lovely compact little light.Does dim, but not as much as I was expecting (wanted to use it in nursery as a sort of night light for nappy changing).On receipt, the bulb was loose and so the light didn’t work, and as the light is a sealed unit, it was very tricky to screw the bulb back in tight! The cream part of the mushroom is soft and squidgy rubber, so could be squeezed to get sufficient grip on the bulb to turn it eventually.Lots of different colour choices and fades/flashes with use of the remote control. One of the flashing options is quite ‘strobe’ like and I suspect it could cause some problems for anyone who suffers seizures etc.I don’t think you would be able to change the bulb if you needed to.On the whole, happy with my purchase.

This has been the best night lamp I have purchased by far. It looks great and the soft squishable lampshade gives it a warm feeling in any room. With a newborn in the room with me, the remote option has been very handy. Only comes with one remote. Love the fact that each colour can be made brighter or dimmer - very handy when feeding/ nappy changing etc. So great am thinking of buying another one!

My daughter is 7 and quite unnerved by the dark. She absolutely loves this, she gets to mess about with the remote that's in her room and (thankfully) I keep the spare out or her way.The mushroom itself is flexi, it gets a little warm but not so much you'd worry about a fire risk. It is relatively small and inoffensive and sits in her room out of the way, radiating enough light to keep her happy on a night time but not enough to stop her sleeping.It also has a dimmer, so you can have the light quite offensively bright, or you can have it dim.The colours are wonderful, though my daughters favourite is indeed the red... I am concerned.

This is a very good lamp, a little pricey but I think you get a good product for the money and it's something I'll use a lot. I'm an adult and suffer with night time claustrophobia and anxiety and this is perfect. Had a great amber light for sleeping peacefully (it's similar colour to the iPhone Night Shift). I did find however that some buttons on the remote don't work but not a big deal because I don't think I'd use a lot of the colours anyways. Brilliant product! Received next day delivery! Ordered this item on tuesday. Received it the next day (Prime member).The bulb was loose and I had to figure out how to open the silicone shade (which you just carefully pull it anyway).There was a slightly issue with the lamp base so I had to contact the seller.The seller responded promptly. Upon receiving my photo of the lamp, they sent out a replacement lamp immediately to me.It arrived on saturday and I was very pleased with it.I loved this little gadget. It is fun to have with all the changeable colours and settings.Soft silicone shade is great for the kids plus the fact that it is cool to touch, hence no burning possible on the little hands.Definitely a 5 star for the product and the service.
