Very efficient device, works very wellOnly criticism is the screws could be stronger, even when screwing into medium hard WOOD, the final screw head broke away. fortunately the other three held the main body into place.

Had years of asking my daughter to close the living room door. I decided to solve the issue by getting closer. Color blends in well with out decor. Very easy to fit however, I do need a bit more tension but I feel if I turn the bar another notch it may damage it. That said, the door does close but not fully because of the door handle catch is stiff so it's stopping it.Another slight niggle is, when the door closes, it does make a very slight rubbing noise when the bar slides along the plastic guide attached to the door. Not a deal breaker but it's there.Over all I'm happy, no more arguments and my thermostat in the hallway on the other side of the door now has a more constant temperature to work with lol

The media could not be loaded. Worth every penny, installation was simple, the tension on the spring is great, definitely does the job it was designed to do, low profile unit and the door has a slightly more noticeable resistance but that's to be expected.

The plastic, disappointing ,guide soon loses it's paint. The closer is powerful and easy to install. I used professional quality screws, the ones supplied weren't very good.Made in PRC, despite the brand. Overall ok.

Be warned that all this door closer may succeed in doing is breaking your door jamb and leaving you with holes in your door where you'd installed it. It may be OK if you just want to loosely close a door so it is not wide open, but the short arm is never going to have the leverage to completely close a door firmly. Certainly not any use if you are trying to install it on a fire door to close completely. Also be warned that it is very easy to trap your fingers underneath the strongly tensioned arm - I narrowly avoided injury. Finally, when I tensioned it, the door jamb, and even then there wasn't enough tension to push the door all the way closed.

Great item does exactly what it states, It closes the door and has great tension, and easy to install, and adjust and to fit. And it is certainly strong.

I installed one of these four years ago on an outside gate and I have only just had to replace it which I think is pretty good going.Product description says can be used outdoors. However, product packaging says indoor only. I didn’t notice this until installing the replacement but like I said, it last four years just fine.Instructions also say to install with arrow racing away from opening door which I have done. However, these leaves screw on top exposed to elements…as such, I suspect this one might not last as long…only time will tell.
