This board is absolutely perfect for the job. It came well wrapped in a grey plastic bag with the corners covered in extra cardboard protection.On opening I was worried as I’d read about the lining being crooked, someone mentioned a seam down the middle so the puzzle wouldn’t lay flat, There’s no seam as you can see from my photos and the fuzzy covering is very smooth and will grip the pieces well.The inner board size is 35.5” x 24.5”. This is your workable measurement. The board fits on my coffee table with the side pieces hanging over the sides but if you use it on a dining table, you can use the sides for spare pieces. You can tuck them under if you want to.The outer material is made of a strong cotton weave with good Velcro all the way across bottom and top and a strip across the middle.All of the edges are bound in good quality binding so finished of nicely.I haven’t used it yet but I would assume if you put the inner pieces on top of your work, they would hold it firm as they are made of the same fuzzy type of velvet material.To be honest, I won’t be using the inner pieces as a puzzle sorter, I prefer the puzzle box, it’s lid and a spare puzzle box.All in all I have nothing bad to say about this board, perfect for the job.

Love this puzzle board! It makes it very easy to start a puzzle, put it away and continue later. The extra pads that you put on top of the puzzle helps me greatly with sorting out puzzle pieces and protecting the puzzle from my cat who likes to think it is a treat for him. The velcro thus far has not lost it stickiness which is what I was initially concerned for. Overall, great product!

I’m very happy with my puzzle board. It holds up to 1500 pieces and keeps the puzzle in its place when you store it away until you decide to do the puzzle again. I found it easy to store away behind my desk or behind a set of drawers so it’s out of the way when I’m doing something else. It’s made of synthetic material and a kind of velvety type of material on the inside when holds the pieces in place. It has two other boards that are covered in the same velvety type of material as in the inside of the main board, which you lay over the puzzle to help keep the puzzle in place and you can use them to put your Other puzzle pieces on. It is essential to have to store your puzzle when you have no room to have a puzzle laying around. When I do get my puzzle out again I have found no pieces of the puzzle have moved out of place. I’m glad I got it and I would recommend this to anyone.

Good, sturdy puzzle case, bought for a 1500 piece jigsaw which it easily accommodates. The inner mats are excellent for sorting and hold the pieces well on a felt like surface.It is rather large and, when fully open, extends out at the sides beyond our 6 seater dining table and has to be supported by resting the sides against the dining chairs when the puzzle mat is in use. The mat makes it easy to pack the puzzle away quickly and was the main reason for purchasing. However, one needs to make sure that when moving the board that, ideally, you keep it flat.

This is a great product. I live in a small space and have a toddler. So being able to do my jigsaw and then put it away Is great.It doesn’t hold the loose pieces in place perfectly but it’s okay as you can just fix them when you open it again. But the jigsaw stays in place.

This is a well made product that does exactly what it is intended to do. Completed puzzles stay together when carried in this. I use it to store puzzles I am working on as well as to transport assembled puzzles to another location. I was so impressed by the quality of this that I also bought the larger one for 1,500 piece puzzles. I briefly considered the version with a zip and a handle, but preferred the lay-out of the working surface in this version.

My experiance - Just needed something to allow me to free up the kitchen table, to which it did just that, worked as expected. Sturdy, easy to use, and allows you to move your jigsaw safely. What i did not expect, is that a jigsaw that was about 30% complete, was enclosed in the case, packed in a box, the box was then packed into a shipping container, transported 4000 miles, shipping container unpacked and to delivery truck, and eventually turned up at new house in another country. If im honest i was expecting a pile of pieces in the bottom of the case. Well i was blown away, the jigsaw looked like it had just been put away the night before, totally intact and not a piece out of place. Totally impressed.

Having always used the roll up style mats I had trouble convincing myself to buy this, but its been worth every penny.No longer are we limited to the dining table or living room floor when we want to do a jigsaw, the rigidity of this mat makes puzzling an anywhere activity.The 2 removable mats are great for working on smaller sections and organising pieces. We've even used them to have 2 puzzles on the go at the same time (they'll hold a 500 piece nicely.The lining is easy to clean which is ideal if, like us, you have pets... Where dog hairs used to fuse themselves to the felt roll up, they just brush straight off this one.My only slight gripe is that it didn't quite take a 1500 piece. At least not the one we did. The working area of the main mat has a height of 60cm, our 1500 piece was 66. Luckily the extra 2 pull out mats let us make the bottom rows separately so we still managed to complete it.Packing away is easy and the pieces seem to stay in place no matter how carelessly I sling it under the bed when we're done.If you're a keen puzzler then this is a must have. Maybe just go a size up if you're planning on doing a 1500+ piece regularly.
