Victorinoxleather belt pouch 5-8 layer

This is a lovely case for my new Swiss Champ, it looks high quality and should last years. I bought this case purely to protect my investment in the SAK Champ It's a very snug fit being brand new, but I don't think that's a bad thing.. I only received it this morning so my SAK is sitting in the case doing nothing. I haven't used either of the items as yet but I'm sure both will come into good use in the near future, now I can carry the kit on my belt without problem. the case is a little on the expensive side but so is the SAK so it evens out and it also enhances my investment to the full.I'm very happy with this case, I did have a bigger case which was unsuitable. I'm going Pike fishing in Scotland next week so everything is looking good and I can't wait to try both items out. I think anyone who owns an SAK Champ should invest in this case because it really is a nice piece of kit and it's perfect for keeping those scratches to the plastic parts of the knife at bay. 5 stars without hesitation xxxxx

Post-edited comments after a month’s use:Whilst I am pleased at last to have found leather pouches to protect my Victorinox SD Classic knives, they aren’t quite as smart or well-made as they appear in the display photo (see the real thing lined up against the illustration on Amazon).Instead of smartly stippled and polished leather, with neatly embossed and stitched edging trim, the pouches I received were matt black, and completely smooth, and will not age as well as the clearly much higher quality leather pouches shown in the illustration. Indeed, after little more than a month’s use, the flap on one of the pouches I bought has already separated into two layers (the red and black), and I have had to glue them back together. On closer inspection of the illustration, I note that this shows what appears to be stitching on the tongue/flap, which certainly appears necessary given the amount of use and movement this area is subjected to, and the absence of stitching on the flaps really is something of a disappointment.However, otherwise they still seem reasonably well made, and the main body at least is well-stitched. Equally importantly, they are a perfect fit for each of my SD knives.In short, although somewhat let down by the actual appearance and quality, which differs considerably from the illustrated pouch, these do the job they are designed for, and at a perfectly reasonable cost.Ever since I first bought my knives, I had been disappointed how quickly the nasty plastic pouches they came in deteriorated, and have wanted a good quality replacement. I have now got nearly what I wanted...It’s a shame, however, that Victorinox couldn’t even go to the trouble of embossing their distinctive trade mark on the cases, which would have been a nice touch, and gone some way to make up for the disappointment with the quality of the leather used and the absence of stitching on the flap.[I have since paid to have the flaps on both cases I bought fully stitched, because they both kept becoming detached, and glue didn’t really last long in keeping the flaps together. This part of the pouch is opened and closed with every use, and thus subject to considerable repetitive strain. I feel this is a design flaw in this version of the product, and Victorinox need to address this seriously. To show a picture showing a stitched, high quality leather pouch when the case supplied is not fully stitched and is made of poorer quality leather is potentially misleading from a trades description standpoint.]

Super-fast delivery as usual. The pouch itself is very sturdy even without a Swiss army knife inside it. It's a very simple but pleasing design with the little Victorinox symbol, some decorative stitching: that's about it. Probably not a completely necessary item for storing multi-tools in but with the belt slit you can keep it close without worrying if it's going to fall out of your pocket or what have you. Overall, excellent product (also I think it's genuine leather).

Fits knife exactly to replace original one that was worn out.

I purchased this Brown 5/8 layer Leather Victorinox pouch to fit my Huntsman Lite.Which is exactly what arrived and it is of good quality.I would have preferred it to be held closed by popper but the velco works okay .This should serve me well for a number of years
