Bought to give two hanging spaces, seems wobbly at first but once all parts are tightened it is really sturdy. Not top quality but excellent value for the price and does the job perfectly. Very pleased.

I had been hopeful that I would be lucky and get a stand that was not poorly made and wobbly but unfortunately not. I got this for my boyfriend and ended up grovelling and saying he could have my metal one instead and I would use this rubbish one but he said he couldn't stand the sight of it. It kind of looked like it had been opened before and all the screws and Alan key were loose in the box. The bags they had been in were ripped and the instructions crunched up at the bottom. The top hanger part was broken. Attempted to fix it but the dowels were beyond fixing and I couldn't get them out of the holes. Put it together anyway, hoping to screw it in place but it was so wobbly and unsturdy that I couldn't envisage it holding many clothes or lasting long. The finish is not good and the wood a composite type. I didn't get the splitting that others experienced but it wasn't good when put together and it was difficult to get the base level. The connecting rods were different lengths so they were either loose between the struts or they made the wood bow. Wood have been better if there were screw holes to attach the rods, as in the base and perhaps some rods to attach the front shorter part to the back. This design could work with some additions but sadly it's just poorly thought out, factory made rubbish. Should have taken the poor reviews seriously but I'm the 'give it a try' sort and I'm willing to mend things if needed. Well, I tried and it wasn't worth it. Disassembled it and boxed it up for a refund. My boyfriend just joked that I should say 'my boyfriend nearly left me upon receipt of this product'. He's joking but it seriously ruined our evening. I feel a fool for buying this trash.

This product could be a little bit stronger, but I can't say it's flimsy either. Instructions could have been clearer but it's mostly self explanatory to assemble so no big deal there. Also, the hanger part could have been sanded better. Be cautious it doesn't scratch the lining of your suit. You may want to sand it down yourself. The product is not painted or stained, and the wood is plain. This could be an advantage if you want to leave it like that, or to stain it yourself in a shade of your choosing. If not, you may want to buy one that is already finished to your liking. Overall I am happy I made this purchase.

This is a great valet stand, I got it to organise my worn-but-not-dirty clothing. It stands up great, it's a little bit flimsy, but not in a bad way. It stays up and can take a lot of weight.Nevertheless, it was an absolute pain to assemble. It you have someone to help you, it won't be a problem, but because parts have to be held together while screwing, it's quite difficult to do as a single person.

I didn’t experience any of the issues that other people had. The pieces are well made and painted well and it went together easily. Yes it is a bit light and may not last for several years but it’s also much cheaper than comparable products. But overall I’m very happy with it.

I bought this product to replace a similar one I purchased decades ago, the upper hanger of which had split apart after much use. While it is basically functional, the quality of the wood is far inferior to my older model: less heavy and far less smooth.Tbh I would hesitate to put anything with delicate threads on this valet stand as there's too much rough splintery wood. There were no dowlings on the lower risers (contrary to the instruction picture) so I had to screw the screws into the wood, which meant that the crossing piece does not sit completely level.As I've already built it, I can't really return it, but I actually don't think it's fit for purpose. If this valet were a person, I'd sack them.I now intend to buy a valet stand from an actual shop, having seen an example for real. I would not recommend this particular product.

I didn't like the way you have to assemble it. Most of the things that had to be attached to each other didn't fit properly because the wood was crooked here and there. So I had to use quite a lot of force to make the bolts go in to be able to get something that is not entirely useless and unstable. Also, one of the holes in which one of the small round wood parts in the middle had to be put, wasn't fully empty (the hole was half full of something I think must have been paint that dripped in and dried out). When I tried to get rid of this to be able to put the small part in in the hole, part of it broke off, so I now have an ugly exposed (not black anymore, cause you can see the wood now) part as well, while the hole was barely still strong enough to hold the part that goes in it. While in first instance I thought I just had to live with this and didn't want to go to the trouble of sending it back, I kind of regret this now. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

If you can't afford an exercise bike to hang your clothes on this is the next best thing. Bery useful and tidy ( a lot less space than an exercise bike). Keeps your clothes in shape and good order ready to wear.I work from home slot so can wear the same clothes for a few days without them bring mucked up or overly creased. So using this leads to less washes, both environmentally and economically sound.Also great tp hsve your smart clothes ready the night before so no last minute preparing when you should be out and about. Easy to assemble.
