Easy to use and look good
These were exactly is ordered size and lengthwise. They are good quality and stretched out easily. I've attached them to existing drain pipe and they're working very well. I ended up drilling some holes in them to allow water for the various shrubbery that they run through. I like them very much, I will order again as needed

Flexible, easy to use, shipped as it appears.
I used this to wrap over one of my gutter downspouts to ensure the water's being let out further from the foundation. It arrives condensed like an accordion so you'll need/want to tug it open to allow it to bend around and be longer. This is neither a pro nor a con - Just a note for those wondering how it'll be shipped. Stretching it apart took a minute of finagling for me to do by myself, but would probably be really easy with two people.Works great so far! It's been in place for a couple weeks now - I'm seeing much less moisture getting into my basement and it hasn't slipped from its place at all, even without additional taps keeping it on the downspout.

useful
I've used these flex drains before and they are handy and useful and bend much easier than regular black corregated pipe. However they will break down over time and crack from outdoor exposure. My guess is you will get 5 years or so out of them maybe more and maybe less if you put a severe bend in them and get alot of sun. The $6 sale price I paid for this was a better than average price.

Perfect for what I needed them for. Shipping times took forever.
Works great for what I needed them for. Perfect size and length. Shipping took about 3-4 weeks for me but not sure if they were in stock at time of purchase or not

Worked very nicely!
This fit nicely to my rectangular drain pipe coming off the roof to part: Flex-Drain 53102 Downspout Adaptor, Landscaping Drain Pipe Adapter 3 by 4 by 4-Inch Flex-Drain. I bought all of the suggested parts eventually to go with item 54001. The pipe was easy to expand without a wrestle and it fit nicely in a small trench I dug. I got most of the pipe to go underground on a slope for drainage. To look at the photo of the item, one cannot tell what kind of pipe this is but is has corrugations that easily expand to make the pipe longer. The word "solid" likely refers to the fact that it does not collapse on itself. It is rigid plastic that holds its shape no matter how long or short you want it. It starts out shorter at around 3 feet long when it arrives in the mail. It is easier to bend around corners than another item I had tried previously. The pipe expands in length to about 8' max which was all I needed. What I did not anticipate initially was that I would need another kind of coupler (with two female ends) to attach a guard to keep vermin out of the pipe as it exited from the ground at the terminal end. I placed a separate order for this:" Flex-Drain 55020 Drain Pipe Coupler Adapter, Female to Female". This was one of the recommended parts that Amazon suggested to be bought together with Flex-Drain 54001. I was then able to attach the guard piece easily that I obtained locally.

Not the thickest plastic….!
I bought this for my son to try at his home with water coming in to the basement when it rains. He had one on the downspout already and I figure try taking it further away and add these! We’ve had a couple of decent rainy days…so far, it’s been dry. The price was great to try this and see if it helped, but if it does work, he’ll need something thicker and sturdier. It was worth a try…just hoping it’s a solution for his foundation! He may get a few years out of these, at least. They are nice, and easy to use, just a weak plastic, so I’m giving 5 stars anyway.

Female Connection cut short (see picture)
I first purchased this a year ago to fit an adapter for my downspout and it worked great. Unfortunately, when I reordered this year, the cuts on the female and on the male ends are shorter. As a result, I am expecting not as good of a seal along with the possibility of heavy rain pulling off the tube from the adapter. I am pretty disappointed because as you can see in the picture, the first one that I purchased has a female connector with a couple more grooves to hold it in place.

Quality drainage
Great weight, thickness, size, and flexibility. Attached with a separate connector to all of our gutter downspouts.
