Hands on physics
What better way to teach and learn about physics! This book does both. Extremely well illustrated with diagrams throughout - essential aids to learning concepts. I've chosen this book from all my many purchases as the one I will buy again and gift to my sister for Christmas. We are both Grandmothers, keen to help the up-and-coming younger members of our families who may be the innovative creators of tomorrow.

Take care to make a quality model.
Fabulous book, lovely to make. Good instructions - but you'll need to follow carefully. The coloured models have yet to be completed.

Karakuri works
I found this book quite a delight. It is saturated with enthusiasm for the techniques of cardboard engineering, especially with relation to creative education, and the 4 models included in the book show the application of the methods explained in the book in a graphic and funny way.

Great but over priced.
It really is of very good quality which my child loves, but so over priced, hence knocking off the one star.

Perfect explanation of the mechanisms I wanted to create for a craft project - plus lots of models to cut out and make!

but what there is so far looks great and kept him occupied
Has kept my 11 year old busy over the summer! The time and care he has taken to make sure the models are built correctly means we don't actually have one to use yet, but what there is so far looks great and kept him occupied.

paper miracles
this book covers paper engineering at all levels and would suit any teacher in secondary schools to look at art, maths, physics and so much more.
