Easy to fit, good performance, quiet enough
This was a swap-out for an existing 100mm unit that had failed. I used the same 100mm (soundproofed) ducting that was already fitted with a couple of 125 to 100mm adapters (from Amazon) and it all went together in about 30 minutes, including the wiring (which was just a matter of connecting up 3 existing wires). When switched on (via the shower pump) it certainly sucks out the air, much more so than the previous 100mm unit. It's a bit noisier (like the sound of a tiny jet engine) but not intrusive and cannot be heard outside the bathroom.Without a doubt, the performance is impressive as it sucks out the steamy, moist air from the shower cubicle, I'm very glad I went for the 125mm unit this time even though I need the two adapters which probably reduce the performance a bit.

I've used this as a kitchen extractor fan and it works great. I bought an extractor hood with built in fan, but the noise was intolerable so I upgraded to this and its not let me down. Even on the low setting it shifts a decent amount of air through 3 meters of ducting, so much so I don't think I'll even bother with the high setting. With it on high its still the quietest extractor I've heard for this amount of air movement. Its got a handy design too which allows you to remove the motor section in the centre while leaving the base and ducting still screwed to the wall so you can very easily clean the blades.

Positioned this around 1m from the vent in my bathroom and it's quite noisy - but my bathroom suffers a damp problem, and I don't think it's going to be a problem anymore with the rate that this pulls the steam out!

Terminal box not sealed for moisture ingress from duct resulting in failure after only one week.
Worked fine when installed. Stopped working after one week due to moisture in the terminal box. Dried out and sealed around cable inlet between motor and terminal box, now working fine again. This cable inlet should have a waterproof grommet or be sealed when manufactured. Rang the Blauberg help line who said they did not know if the cable inlet should be sealed and told me to contact Amazon to return the fan if not satisfied, not much help really.
