ThruNite TH20 520 Lumen CREE XP-L LED Headlamp (TH20 Neutral White)

Great torch, I love it. Running on a rechargeable 2500mah Nimh AA battery on full it seems to last about 60-90 minutes, and being AA size batteries it is easy to take a few with you. The size is about as small as you could get wrapped from an AA battery so very light on the head - I was a bit concerned about not having a centre over head strap that all my previous torches have had but this really is so light it doesn't need one.The brightness on full is similar to a 60W light bulb so you don;t tend to need it that bright too often. Firefly works well for checking maps etc without wrecking you night vision.The light beam is a broad beam so good for lighting areas, it there was one function I wish I could add it would be the ability to focus the beam down for a narrow longer distance beam for some uses.Simply easy to use control - just read the full description for details.

Love, love, love this product. It is so powerful when used with the 14500, 750mah battery.It's light and comfortable, so to use and is perfect for camping, night hike/walking the dog and general use.My only con is I should have gone for the bright white. instead of natural white, but that is just personal choice

Excellent head-light. My only criticisms are: it's not easy to swivel and the headband has gone a bit wavy after a few months.Update after owning it for quite a while: still going strong. It's well- designed and well-made.

Thrunite lights are on par with Fenix and Nitecore. I have a number of flashlights from various manufacturers. The pros for this headlamp are:1. Warm white makes working up close more natural rather than overpoweringly white output2. wide beam; one of the widest I have seen (with a hotspot - I prefer fully diffused but hey-ho)3. light weight and memorised user selectable light output4. AA batteries that last 90mins on max5. moonlight mode is 0.6 low but usableThe con for me is you can't fit a protected 14500 battery in, so if you want the extra max-lumen output you risk over discharging your li-ions.Chuck this in your grab-bag, car or work bag and supplement it with a bunch of rechargeable AAs and the ThruNite TN4A (XP-L HI) and you cover all the bases. This for looking under bonnets, in cupboards, sheds and outbuildings (good for up to 30ft away) and the TN4A when you need to simulate a car main beam headlight or search adjacent fields.

Great torch, well made, a huge range of brightness and easily adjusted.Can't ask for more.

Initial review to let buyers know there is no battery included (which isn't clearly stated anywhere!). A longer one will follow after acquiring one.

Absolutely brilliant head torch, this is my 3rd now, the other 2 are still working like new. But this time I bought the natural white and do prefer the light output, I use Panasonic eneloop batteries, best head torch by miles

10/10. Absolutely fab! lasts through rain and dropping it a few metres. light on your head not heavy at all. great beam of light.
