Robust in its construction, the body of the jig is made from heavy gauge steel pressings that will not flex under load and the template is precision CNC machined from aluminium for improved accuracy in your work. Ideal for all kinds of projects, this jig will accept up to 12" wide timbers from 1/4" to 1 1/4" in thickness making this jig suitable for dovetailing boxes, drawers and cabinets. Self aligning guides automatically position the workpiece for pin and tail locations reducing the need for tricky calculations. The jig holds both workpieces at the same time, so that the male and female dovetail cuts are a perfect match. Two substantial levers operate on a cam lock action to quickly and rigidly grip the timbers eliminating the risk of the workpiece moving when being routed. Supplied with aluminium CNC machined template for producing 1/2" wide half-blind dovetails, full instructions and a 1/4" shank router cutter with guide bearing. This is an excellent dovetail jig.
