Spitting in the face of Airline luggage allowances!
I've now bought the 81cm, 73cm and 69cm cases. I've used Samsonite for about 10 years previously and love the robustness - and the fact that if something breaks, they fix it (twice now).I upgraded to these because of weight. I live by two travel luggage rules. 1) If you can't fit it into one case (airline weight allowance considered), you're doing something wrong. 2) Obeying rule 1, it's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it!So in short I travel "light" but not light. So many evenings before a trip I've weight my case and had to shave some weight off or wonder "How much leeway do they give you at check-in? Is 10% too much?). I can honestly say, these things are ridiculously light. I literally have supermarket bags for life that are heavier (empty)! OK I've exaggerated there but not by much. Seriously though, since owning these, I've never had that pre-flight dilemma over what to dump.If you're a regular traveller these are for you. They're bloody expensive if you're not, but even then, if money is no object, go for it. Every now and then you take a chance and buy something functional that exceeds expectations, and this/these are one of them.Light and worryingly flexible but seemingly very robust. They zoom round the airport with the turning circle of a London taxi. After 4 long haul and 3 short haul trips in less than a year, they're surprisingly pristine. Yes they're expensive and for many would not represent value for money. For me, they just about deliver that too. Especially when I recall the time I was charged £50 by Tui for being 1.2kg over my allowance.

Excellent for the business traveler
As a frequent flyer having a durable and light weight suitcase helps makes business travel that little bit easier. After owning this suitcase for the past 3 months I am happy to say this is an excellent product. Being extremely lightweight I find it very easy to manoeuvre around, having 4 wheels really does make a difference. Even after 4 round trips from the UK to Asia since owning it, apart from a very small & minor scratch my case still looks as good as new. The 69cm size might be a little two small for say a family holiday but for up to a 10 day business trip I find there is just enough space for everything I need. I would definitely recommend this case to both work colleagues and friends.

Flimsy, but good
I been using it now for a couple of flights and seems to keep its shape quite well even I had it wrinkled couple of times by the beloved airport staff.Very light, the locks are quite good and even I was nervous about the stick handle, seems to go quite a good job.The only down part might be the zip, seems to be the weakest point, but no issues so far. I am always using it with a luggage strap.

Digital Locking System Doesn’t Work !
Our Samsonite suitcase - purchased here - has not seen that much usage but somehow the locking mechanism has jammed and does not respond to the digital code anymore !! Where / how can I get this fixed ? Beyond disappointed as this is sold as a superior brand and had expected so much more ! The case looks lovely and is exceptionally light but without being able to confidently close it up - it’s useless !!!I live in Surrey so any help would be appreciated - so far Samsonite have not been at all helpful by just telling me to take to any retailer - nobody will touch it !HELP ! This was supposed to be an investment piece …..

best lightweight suitcase
My previous and next size up Samsonite Lite survives after 19 years but a small tear is starting on one of the rubber external hinges. Hence my purchase of this one, albeit one size down. It's smart, quite big enough for my needs. - I always fill a suitcase rather than just take what I really need! - beautifully light and easy to manoeuvre. Very pleased. Cheap? No. But you get what you pay for.

Incredibly light and spacious
After a lot of comparison shopping this is definitely the lightest hardshell on the market at the moment and the petrol blue is a very nice colour. The Curve material does seem less 'hard' and more bendy than heavier cases so will be interesting how it handles a very long haul flight. Even packed with Xmas presents and more shoes than I should really take it still weighs only 17 kilos so far, well below the 23kg airline limit. Yes at over £200 it is expensive for a suitcase but I got it for nearly half the price on the Samsonite & most other sites. Unfortunately I had a lot of issues with delivery, with it not even dispatched on it's original expected delivery date, and was getting very anxious with my flight looming that it would not arrive int time. Luckily it did but do allow more time than the Amazon site says - it arrived 2 days late but that was with a lot of chats & calls chasing it and getting promises it was being fast tracked.

Lightest hard sided suitcase you can buy
Already have one of these, so brought this for my husband as he loved mine, easy to handle and got a dent in the corner from our last trip, The baggage handler at Heathrow showed us how to just hit it from the inside and it popped back out as good as new. Brilliant capacity, holds a lot more you think. Pre covid spent 3 months travelling around Australia & New Zealand, planes, trains, ferry and hired cars and both our suitcases performed well and are in perfect condition looking forward to their next trip.

Good and bad news...
The good news is it is light and strong. The really bad news is the zip breaks and the rubber that acts as hinges gets torn off by airport handling meaning that the suitcase can unzip the whole 360 degrees! I have purchased 3 of these suitcases so have a good amount of experience of the model. It's a shame that Samsonite can't sort out such a fundamental design flaw. When I bought it, it included a global lifetime warranty but my investigation thus far is that it is difficult to invoke
