This is a really good replacement for a metal crate. I had a nice metal crate that looked hideous and I kept bashing my knee on it, or hurting my back when I had to move it. I really wanted to get rid of it but my two small labradoodles were really anxious and need to hide out every so often when there is a crowd or it gets loud. This worked as a good subsitute -- they really took to it well, it fit the same pad I had in my metal crate, and the quality seems really good. It is much safer to deal with on a day to day basis and folds up into nothing. I also like that you can open it from two sides or the top, and shade out part of it easily. A really good buy. Also very easy to assemble and disassemble; you could easily take it with you if you wanted to in a small tote bag.

I originally purchased one of these to hold an injured 7 week old kitten, (hit by a car) lost the use of her front left leg so she needed to be confined, too young to cast, but I digress. This playpen was great for the first week, but she's growing and getting better and a little more active and was making a mess with the litter. I needed something bigger but didn't want to break the bank so I ordered a 2nd and attached them, leaving the middle open so she can go back and forth. One side has litter and food, the other a nice cushiony bottom and toys. The cushion makes one side higher than the 2nd but it works and gives her practice going up and down. She's really happy in there now and much less messy. I used zip ties and a couple binder clips and voila! she has a pass thru to each side. She's happier, I'm happier not having to clean it ever 5 seconds and it was a cost effective way to house this little one. No worries, she's already got 2 options for a furever home but she needs to see a vet about possible amputation of the front foot.....other than that, she's perfectly healthy, happy and playful kitten. Yep, those are flea traps you see in the photo, also purchased here, great product as well, but luckily we're in the clear now and everything is going wonderfully. These playpens super easy to put together and even has stakes to put outside if you wanted. Buy it. Well made and durable. If it's holding this very active baby, it'll serve the purpose for what you need. 10 out of 10 for sure. Oh and it comes with a little carrying case so you can take it on the go. Very happy with this/these playpens.

Great playpen! Great quality, light and easy to set up. So far it has been working for my 3 months old beagle. Highly recommended for puppies. I order size small and it’s actually a great size for a small/ medium sized puppy. Only bad thing to say is that it is so lightweight your dog can turn it into a hamster’s wheel, but it comes with pins to hold it outside.

Five months in: kittens are 6mo, teens, adore this thing. I keep it up for them since they've taken to playing in it, and while it's large? It's also kind of easy to toss in the corner of a room.After five months- the interior wire framing is wearing out. Even with the added vertical poles, the "tent" tries to collapse on itself if one of the kittens jumps on top.I also was sorely disappointed that neither the tunnel, nor tent, attach to anything else. Not even a second of the same product. You can't add compartments or tunnels to this, like others advertised elsewhere. It is designed to be completely solitary.THAT said, there are some solid designs to this thing otherwise:The mesh really does seem to be scratch proof. These kittens are constantly trying to rip at it, and not a single tear.The ability to link the zippers together, the handles, the outer pocket, and the velcro to hold open the sides, are all really nice added details.My biggest peeve is its incompatibility to be attached to other units. Including the same product.But everything else about it is great, from my experience. The kittens go ham on it daily, and aside from that top wire bending a bit, it's showing no other wear.If it's for supervised play outside, penning temporarily inside, or even traveling- I'd recommend. If you need something that accommodates lengths of time where the cat needs litter or more, I would not.It's a good size for multiple SMALL cats. I'd not recommend it for more than one, MAYBE two, large cats.I'd get it again as a play tent and safe spot, though.

Great for traveling with my dog. Lots of room, sturdy, pretty, great quality, worth every penny. Love it and so does my dog. I can fit his bed, food, toys and still have plenty of room to walk around for him. Easy and compact when folded. Perfect for trips. I got the largest size for my very small dog. He weighs about 9 lbs.

When my cat broke his leg and had to have surgery, the after-care from the vet said "No running on hardwood floors". Well, my entire house is hardwood and I work full-time during the day, so my little guy needed a safe place to stay while I wasn't there.I went ahead and ordered the largest size so he'd have room for his food, litter box, blanket and toys. It was just a little cramped with the litter box, but I found out (the hard way) that he couldn't go the entire time I was gone without using it. Thankfully, it's also easy to clean!It was quick and easy to put together and take down. I love that it folds up so compactly. It would work great for traveling! It's quite durable and withstood his attempting to climb the sides on multiple occasions, and mesh held up well to the usual kitty clawing.
