Munchkin Lindam Staircase Safety Gate Fixing Kit, Pack of 2

w2e got these for a baby gate we use to stop the dogs going upstairs. I didn't even know these existed so we were having some real issues attaching the gate to the bottom of the stairs. These were perfect and did the job with no issues

Have rounded bannisters, so the flat kit that comes with the gates don't work. Was able to buy this 2 piece set, and use one with a Lindam, and the other with a Tippetoes gate without any issues. The Y bit is smaller than the diameter of the bannister, but still provides a secure fit. Also the length the straight screw portion is long so it can be extended a fair bit and still have good stability.

These are expensive for what they are - but they work well with the Lindam stair gate. We have quite an 'ornate' staircase rail and this has fitted it well. The part which sits against your staircase is actually padded so it doesn't mark the hand rail (which was critically important in our case!). I only had use for one (as would a significant proportion of people I imagine), so it would perhaps be useful to sell this individually.With these fitted, the gate is well fixed despite our 14 month old trying to swing from it!

I have a very odd shaped staircase so thought this product would be great, however the curved fitting is tiny! I think the picture is very deceiving as it only fits around a curved bar that’s about a circumference of 3cm. Too bad the puppy (the reason we bought the stair gate) got hold of the packaging so I couldn’t return.

Stumbled across this product as the original fitting from the gate kept slipping off the round rail. The new fitting is great and the gate fits solidly.

Easy to fix and very sturdy

We had to buy these adapters because we didn’t have two flat walls to attach our stair gate for our one year old daughter. They were very easy to install and have remained sturdy.
