Got this for a friends wedding. Beautiful frame. Looks very nice upon opening. The packaging was a little crumpled but otherwise it was great.

We received this item as a wedding gift and have had no problems with it falling apart yet.This nicely holds one 8 X 10 in photograph. Instead of using a black and white photo like the marketing/product insert, we used a color photograph which looks nicely in this frame! There is no backing that you take off in order to place the photo—instead you slide the photo through a slit in the photo holder in the back of the frame. You can not see this photo holder from the front view since it is flat. It is a black felt and looks elegant from a side view if you happen to spot the backing. Do note that the opening for the photo to slide down into is TIGHT! I almost bent the photo (photo paper from a major department store's photo center) while inserting it into the slot. Once the photo is in, however, there is no other issue other than the glare that this frame gives off.The frame is glass, but it is not thin (see photo). The frame is also see-through except for where the wording is. Because this is glass, and the photo cover is glass, there is allot of reflection on this frame when in a sunny or well-lit room. Beautiful frame, but unfortunately the backing fell away from the glass of the frame in less than 1 year.

Just over 10 years ago we received another variation of this frame as a wedding gift and we have a photo from our honeymoon cruise inside it displayed in our living room. For our 10 year anniversary this year we went on a cruise and bought another photo. I really wanted to find a frame similar to the one we had so I could put the photos side by side. This fit my need perfectly.Getting the photo in the frame can be tricky because it is a tight fit, but you can definitely do it just being careful. Our photos are now displayed side by side showing our growth over the last 10 years. I love it!
