The quality of this watch is very, very high. 316L steel sandblasted case and dimensional carved dial. The dial is a hand cast impression of a carved stone dial. High quality, high design timepiece. Watch movement is a single hand Japan made 12-hour rotation that allows for very easy reading of the time!

Its fun and unique
As someone else pointed out, if you look even a little close at it, it does have a plastic look to it ... but it is plastic! I really wish it had at least 1 increment between the hours so you could identify the half hour as the Roman numerals don't all take up the same amount of space so it can be a little difficult to guess-timate if its 8:30 o'clock or 9:00. 3 increments would be even better so you can identify the quarter hour ... but on the other hand, you get an idea of the time and it's not intended to be a serious time piece anyway!

This is a fun little watch
This is a fun little watch. I'm not in love with it, but I'll get to that. It's an interesting piece because it's different. It's not the best way to tell time because it has no increments between hours. The main concern I have is that the face looks to plasticy -- meaning, they should change the description of the face to more accurately reflect what the face is made out of. As I said though, I would buy it again because it's definitely unique, which is what I was looking for.

Not what the item is
This is a classic dial watch. It has roman numerals, but that does not mean that it is a sun dial. DON'T BUY THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING
