It definitely doesn’t taste earthy. The clay is very chewy and sticks to your teeth very easily. They all have different flavors so you can pick and choose which ones are to your liking. Personally it’s not worth the price and it’s not worth buying. The quality of taste/texture is not as described.

(Pics are in fhe order of this) This gives a great verity the dark gray one is REALLY crunchy and kinda waxy but smooth the white one is creamy but it sticks to the teeth the lighter gray one is salty but definitely not my favorite the red one is pretty crunchy then goes to being smooth the orange one is really soft and VERY earthy taste kinda like dirt (not my favorite) but overall they're all really good

I got it for my pregnancy pica cravings and I feel in love with the red crunch clay and I ordered more separately. I think my least favorite was the black one it was to sticky and horrible.

I really liked the red clay taste. The rest either had no taste or the grey one was salty, not a fan. At least now I know the red clay is what I need but if you are like me and want to satisfy that extremely earthy dirt taste, not so much about the texture, then these are not for you.

OMG! this was the nastiest clay I've ever tasted. All of the pieces tasted like wax(imagine those wax snacks with juice in the middle.... That's what all of them tasted like but worse). Rather than an earthy flavor, it was straight chemical. I tried washing my mouth out with a ginger ale in order to get the taste out and it tasted like I had gasoline on my mouth. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It was truly a waste of my money.

Except for the red clay—something about it gives me weird heartburn and makes me burp, and the burps smell awful afterward. The light gray clay, though—super salty and absolutely my favorite!

While I decided to go down the rabbit hole of my pica habits I decided to try edible clay. I’ve done my research and have watched videos, and none of them describe clay as soft or pasty, but what I do hear is the Crunch sound and I guess they turn off the video in the part where they are rinsing their mouth to get rid of the pasty elements after they initially crunch into the clay. I do like the fact that it comes in different varieties, but I would have liked to know what the name of each clay was. There was no description on the box only a paper that stated do not. heat in the oven. They are very salty. Didn’t necessarily have a smell to it. The gray one tasted like dirt. That was the one that I liked the most if you’re into pasty sensations when you’re eating things, this would be great but if you’re looking for more or less dirt tastes I would stick with chalk I’m not gonna give this a bad rating itjust didn’t cater to my pica cravings.

This was not for me and I’ve tried many different clays/chalks over the years and this is hands down the worst one. I was hoping to like at least one out of the batch but didn’t!I baked them and let them air out for while but the texture and taste was still not there! It’s also very gummy and sticks to your teeth terribly!
