JVC KD-R332 CD Car Stereo with Front AUX Input CD/MP3 Playback

I purchased this item as a replacement for the factory fit Skoda radio in my Fabia.It sounds very nice, does a good job of driving the speakers and maintains a very good signal / reception.Installation was quite easy - it is a standard unit. There are some spade connects for swapping the red and yellow wires - this makes installation in some VWs and Skodas MUCH easier. The lack of English in the manual is annoying, but this is available via a quick google search.My only issues are that it is a little bit plasticky (fine for the price), the buttons for accessing radio presents are a little small, and that there is no usb port (you should know this before you buy it!).Contrary to what another reviewer said, it happily plays MP3s burned on a data cd - I have 70 songs on one disc and it easily plays them (with full folder support).

As with other reports, came with no English instructions.Fitting easy, standard blocks and cage, no big deal.Also bought pair of proper speakers so sound quality good.You can download user manual off the net if you look hard enough.Has plenty options to set sound to your choice.However I am still struggling to get the unit to hold user settings and not revert to demo mode every time it's switched off.Likely not a product fault and I will persevere.Set has potential to be a good £50 upgrade from your standard 90's hatch car system.

The first one I received was faulty but this was replaced quickly by Amazon. I have a VW Camper Van and luckily I had read some reviews which said that two connection wires had to be reversed for VW and certain other makes of cars. Instructions were in many languages but not English but they were easily found on line.

TBH its a decent enough stereo to replace the one in my wife's Picasso, however, my only gripe is that the instructions for operating it are in every language known to man except english. I'm sure theres even Na'vi translation for those Avatar's on Pandora, but not us in the UK on planet Earth.But as it's a basic generic stereo I'm sure the wife will figure it out, and sadly James Blunt will probably be blaring out the car windows again within the next hour.Deep Joy :-/

Bought this as a Christmas present. The recipient was very happy with the radio. It was easy to install and has a great sound. Very pleased.
