A simple product, but essential for stitching leather (etc) neatly.The four blackened punches arrived in clean condition - no rust or heavy grease residue - and could be used immediately. I found the individual punch tines to be cleanly defined and did not require any cleaning or smoothing with a file.They arrived in a small zip-lok type clear plastic bag; no instructions (none needed) and no advertising or place of origin/manufacture information whatsoever. This did not bother me at all (especially if it keeps the price down), but I suppose it could be an issue if the item ever had to be returned for some reason.Very pleased that I bought this item.

Not the Best, Not the Worst
Bought these to use instead of the ones received in a larger set of leather working tools.They are pretty good and I would highly recommend them for a beginner or intermediate leather worker. They are pretty sturdy, but you will need to refine the points.
