Ariel Formula Pro Plus Concentrate Bio Bag 13kg

This is the best washing detergent I have ever bought! I purchased a plastic bin to store it in which works out well.I think I'm addicted to our washing machine judging by the sheer number of washes I put on each day. I have twin boys and a husband so I guess it's to be expected!I have favoured powder over liquid as it's significantly less expensive, but I found that it clogs up the drawer which is unpleasant. That is no longer the case as you literally only need a heaped teaspoonful of this concentrated product per full wash! Plus, it gets stuff clean at a lower temperature and therefore reduces your electricity bill.I now tend to wash our laundry at 40 degrees (I can't quite get my head round reducing it to 30 even though it's probably enough!). I now use Dettol Liquid in with the softener to be sure that any germs are killed off washing at the lower temperature. It seems to work a treat.Unfortunately it doesn't have that beautiful smell that comes with the normal Ariel so I put a handful of Lenor Unstoppables in the drum first (if I don't intend to tumble dry the load - sheets and such like).This big bag should last months, even at the rate I do washing at, and when it does run out I will be back for more!

Realistically, though, How many washes one would get depends on 1. your level of water hardness, and 2. the actual weight of your load.For example, below is a breakdown of my personal usage which is based on the water hardness in our region, and on my average consumption per week and per washing load.The dosage, according to Ariel, depends on the load and water hardness. The minimum dosage for 1 KG in soft water is 12 g. For medium-hard = 15 g, and for hard = 17 g.Consequently, and considering that our water hardness is medium, my dosage for a 5 kg wash equals to 5 kg * 15 g = 75 g, which would leave me with about 173 washing loads.However, given the fact that I do not always have a whole 5 kg load per wash cycle as I am single, I would average 50 g per wash, giving me a realistic 260 loads per 13 kg. Therefore, a whole bag will last me for 2-years, which I can confirm as I am now on my second bag.

OMG! Brilliant results. As a holiday let owner I am frequently left with pretty much any stain you can imagine. Why people abuse my white towels and sheets so badly I will never understand. This stuff is the best and I've tried just about everything. It is expensive, but you get a huge bag and it is a concentrate, so only need a tiny amount per load. Because you only need to wash them once it saves loads of time, stress and money in the long term. Highly recommended.

Not what it claimed to be.

With two teenagers this is a great money saver. I normally use a box every ten days or so which can cost up to £15. My washing machine is on constantly as I am a student nurse and at times I have to boil wash my uniform. So with this and ten school uniforms per week to wash I am hoping to save money. I have noticed this cleans just as well if not better than my supermarket Ariel (slightly less perfumed) and I use less as its concentrated. Will monitor how long it lasts but will make this a regular order and best thing about it is the great delivery I am not having to carry huge bag home as someone else does the hard work for you!!! Great buy

Best washing powder ever, however Mercat Ltd that supplied it, or rather didn’t, were dreadful, after two weeks and still have not received product, I’ve had messages sent trying to fob me off when I asked for refund, I eventually had to report to Amazon you sorted my refund out straight away. Product I’d recommend, buying from this seller I wouldn’t.
