Perfect
These are very sturdy and even attach firmly to my desk that has small (1/2in) square piping under the surface as a frame. Zero issues with weight. Primarily used with thrustmaster warthog hotas setup.

Serious heft, serious mounts. If possible, mount to a solid wooden desk. Excellent build quality.
Instructions for buildings these joystick mounts is pretty straight forward. They are easy to follow, and require just a small overview (referencing back and forth). When I say these are heavy duty mounts, I kid you not, they are. In fact after building one and installing my Turtle Beach Velocity One stick, and playing an intense arcade flight sim (Top Gun 2010, Paramount Digital Entertainment) it kept its place on the desk with no issues. Now in the past (just a few days ago, really) I would fly with one hand and hold the joystick base with the other between my legs. With the current version of Microsoft Flight Simulator it wasn't a serious issue, but it gets real tiresome and sometimes painful holding down the base while flying especially in an intense air to air combat in fighter flight games and having to reach for the throttle and flaps and stuff. With the this mount I directly mounted it to my compressed particle wood desk, between my legs area, and now I have the other hand fully free for buttons, switches, knobs, flaps and throttle! A huge relief and no more strain to the wrist. However, I want to add that in intense dog fights and air to surface combat my cheap desk flexs a little. I feel like it is just a matter of time before the desktop rips apart. I plan on just going out to the hardware store and buying a solid piece of wood; cutting it, sanding, stain, lacquer it, and just chuck the old desktop and slapping on a new desktop. What is really great is that if I don't want it mounted between the legs area I simply loosen the clamp and move it over to the right of my legs and fly from that point. These mounts have some heft. They are well made, and all the hardware is provided. There are so many mounting holes, that it just takes a few moments to figure out which ones will work. All of the materials came in dent and scratch free. In fact there were no blemishes, flanges or any sharp protruding metal on anything.Instructions did not provide information on mounting my specific Turtle Beach Velocity One Joystick, but that didn't matter. I ended up using the universal rails, that were also included, and aligning the holes and mounting it from there. Oddly enough my stick has only 3 mounting holes as opposed to having 4.Overall a great set of mounts, and now I just need a throttle for the other mount. ;)
