just received mine last week and took measurement of the cable, it is 30cm

i don't understand the question as i don't know about a green cable

is this an easy self fit. as far as diy is concerned i have no thumbs.

As far as diy is concerned it is fairly easy, but attaching the push fit on the pan top is a bit fiddly, I can see how it would be more difficult with no thumbs, however and maybe it would be best to let a plumber do it. But only yourself can answer that question.
