informative and practical book which is useful for anyone wanting to know more about the subject
I thought that I knew a lot about using the Lego Serious Play method (LSP) before reading this book. It turns out I was wrong! Per Kristiansen and Robert Rasmussen have written a thoughtful, informative and practical book which is useful for anyone wanting to know more about the subject. The book is very well researched, linking the benefits of using Lego Serious Play method with the latest business, academic and scientific research. I found it fascinating to learn about the history and thinking behind the development of LSP. The definitions of different types of imagination and ways of play were illuminating too. This book is for anyone who has thought that there has to be a better way, of harnessing collective creativity and knowledge, than the traditional business meeting, where 20% of participants dominate and the rest lean back in their seats, not participating. It is an honest guide to the background of LSP, the benefits of choosing this method and includes real life case studies which serve as a guide of when and where to use LSP.I finished the book feeling richer in understanding and knowledge about LSP and more convinced, than ever, of the transformative ability of Lego Serious Play to move businesses, teams and individuals on in positive, successful and creative ways.

Whoever chose the paper stock for this print should be fired!
Great content but such a shame that its printed on toilet paper! You can see the text from the reverse of the page coming through, which makes it an incredibly hard read!

Definitely a must read for everybody interested in LSP!
Finally a book about LEGO® Serious Play® (LSP) by its original creators. A fascinating read!!!The book is an honest account of the story and history behind LSP, how it developed and evolved. The more theoretical sections linked to the method, the case studies and applications as well as the pages about the LSP process, what it is and what can be achieved through it and how, are extremely valuable for the reader, new to LSP and experienced alike. The book mainly focuses on Business but it is definitely a useful reference guide for anybody in other (professional) areas as well, as it will provide plenty food for thought and trigger ideas to change practices in a variety of contexts and adopt more creative and playful approaches using LSP that will be pan-participatory and insightful. As an accredited LSP facilitator, immersing myself in this book, literally and metaphorically, was valuable CPD linked to LSP. It helped me to refine and extend my thinking about LSP and clarify many of the details linked to the method. If you are new to LSP, this book will complement any related training or development you are undertaking by accredited LSP facilitators or LSP mastertrainers. The book encouraged me to think outside-the box and explore opportunities for further creative uses of LSP and applications in an Higher Education context with academics and students as this is the area of my work and special interest.Definitely a must read for everybody interested in LSP!

Not really what the title suggests
I was really keen to learn more about Lego serious play having seen some social media posts about it. I purchased the book as it suggested using the methodology and thought it would help with that. It didn’t really help that much - the case studies were very limited and there was no “this is how you set up and run a session”. I may have misinterpreted the title but I don’t feel this book offered a guide to “using the method”
