I ordered these as backups for a couple printers. By the time we needed them, it was past the time I could return them. They don't work. The printers won't even recognize the cartridge. When compared to the actual Brother cartridges, we noticed they have a spring instead of a male part like the Brother ones. In the photo the Brother ink is on the right. I'm not sure if this difference is why these don't work, just know that they don't work at all. We tried 3 different cartridges and none of them work. Don't order these.

I have a MFC J4420DW Brother printer and these cartridges work just like the name brand ones do , they just cost way less . I will be purchasing here from now on . I use to spend $80.00 to replace - not anymore .

These cartridges are much, much cheaper than the Brother brand ones, however they are a gamble: some work fine, but probably 20-40%+ of the time, they are not recognized by my BrotherMFC-J4620DW printer, no matter how many times I reinsert them or try tapping away any bubbles in the ink, so I end up having to throw them away and try another one. Theoretically, you can call or email and and have replacement cartridges sent for the ones that don't work because of the guarantee--but it's a hassle, and it doesn't help you keep printing in the moment if you don't have extras on hand. So if you go this route make sure you order enough to allow for this failure rate and aren't caught short and unable to print at all.

I have a Brother J4420DW MFC and have tried other off brands with no luck. But this snapped right in and worked. Some people complained about getting ink all over them. Well when you take the tape off the air hole don't tilt the cartridge. Common sense you would think. Good deal.

I have now used all the colors plus black in the printer. So far they are every bit as good as OEM ink. The cartridges may have to be ejected and pushed back in if the printer initially doesn't; recognize it as a new cartridge. If the cartridges hold up for the full duration of their ink supply, they are well wroth it.

The family took turns trying (about 50+ times), then had an IT person try and the printer would not recognize any of the cartridges, so I had to return them all.

Works great in my Brother MFCJ4620, which, aggravatingly, insists on having all color cartridges fully functional to print black. Fraction of the Brother cartridge cost.

Bought this ink for a Brother printer. It does not work AT ALL! Instead of saving money, I just wasted it!.

Working great in my MFC-J4620. Been running with them for over a month and no issues with installation or printing.
