ALLOYWORKS 4 Row Full Aluminum Radiator for 1987-2006 Jeep Wrangler YJ TJ 2.4L 2.5L 4.0L 4.2L L4 L6 Engine

I purchased an AlloyWorks radiator (model ALLOYWORKS-1141) for my 2002 Jeep Wrangler in April 2023, I was sold the promise of improved cooling. My concerns weren't with its temperature regulation of my engine, but the issues I was having with transmission cooler lines blowing off while driving.I got the run-around of trying to get the warranty. There is no information on how to obtain a fix. It wasn't until I left a negative review that I got a response. Come to find out, Amazon doesn't allow the seller to leave contact information, plus they don't seem to have a way to tell you how to contact them. What you need to do is ask Amazon to email them so they can initiate contact through Amazon's portal. The problem I had with the radiator is that there was an issue with the manufacturing of the transmission cooler where it was slightly restricted causing an overpressure and blowing out the lines. AlloyWorks made good on the warranty. The new radiator does not have the restriction that the first one had.I have since updated my rating because it is the rules laid out by Amazon that make getting a warranty difficult. I have suggested that that the manufacturer add a flyer or something advising of how to resolve. Hopefully this will help someone in the future.

The issue of LHD and RHD is not identified at purchase and radiator as sold can not be installed in RHD Australian compliant vehicle without considerable modifications to the mountings.

Had to change 1/4” trans outlet to a 3/8” to fit existing hose size.

Purchased this 4 core radiator as an upgrade to the stock tj radiator installed fine but has started leaking after 3 months and the leak seems to be getting worse. Can’t really tell where it’s coming from if I had to guess there is a pin hole or a crack in one of the cores. The radiator itself seemed decent quality some of the welds were not the best but no signs of major porosity and no signs of any external pinholes. Really bummed this thing started leaking I’m guessing it was a factory defect. I’m going to attempt to contact the seller to see if I can get a replacement and will update this review when I have more information

2nd radiator works fine fast on shipping replacement only issue I have is having to install the radiator twice
