Fire Cam 4K WiFi 32GB (US)

Firecam has so many issues and just isn't reliable. Its an ok camera when it works but it's not the best quality. Compared to other 4k cameras the image is lacking. This thing drains batteries so get use to charging them almost every day. The app is awful, hard to use, glitched, unreliable, junk. There is no standalone charger for the batteries so you have to remove the entire camera to charge them. To remove them camera you have to unscrew it from the bracket AND take the back cap off. I have no idea how they could mess up so bad and make the bracket too small to fit the rear cap. If you own this camera you know exactly what I'm talking about. Operating the camera with the button isn't hard but its also not simple if that makes sense. Why cant there be separate record and stop buttons? Seriously, sometimes you think you have it recording but its not because all the functions are controlled with one button. Some times the app shows that the SD card is empty and ready to use but then it turns out the card is actually still full. If you use this thing get use to messing around with it every single day just to hopefully have it work when you need it.

This was a gift for my son who is a full-time paid firefighter, a volunteer firefighter and a firefighter for our US Air Force... recently the lens broke while at work and he contacted me to find out more about the item and if there was a warranty. I gave him the order information and the company contact information and he reached out. The support staff that assisted him is sending him a new lens, without cost. I got this a few months back and love it. Easy to use and video quality is excellent. Sound could be better. The phone app sucks but quick and easy to load on the computer. Highly recommend and worth the cost.

This is my second Fire Cam. Had the 1080 and I absolutely loved it until I burned it up. The Wi-Fi features are great. Definitely a real benefit to training.
