Good self-leveling clearcoat
Overall a worthwhile product. Had a deep clearcoat scratch that was VERY noticeable. Had difficulty removing it even with wet sanding and cutting compound. This product applies a thin layer of clearcoat that dries shiney. HOWEVER, I would recommend blending the product at about 3 hours versus the full 24 hours. Edges of the clearcoat will be obvious if you dont blend it to the rest of the paint job. Overall very pleased. Would recommend.

Wipe on clear coat - they're not kidding! Extremely versatile and effective.
Wish you could somehow respray the clear coat on your car to remove deep scratches, cover touch-up paint, or just make the whole car look like showroom new again? This stuff is it! I restored two entire cars, solving multiple problems -- worn thin/missing clear coat, deep sand scratches, faded/dull finish. I also coated a beautiful, Mercedes E350 just to make it spectacular like a dealership.I must emphasize that this product is an industrial resin, in an industrial solvent. It's not just another nanometer/ceramic coating. You can control how thick you want to coat, from extremely fine to heavy. The solvent is very aggressive, removing all previous waxes, impossible grim, oxidation, etc., yet does not melt paint like acetone. It prepares the surface so that the compound (included) is extremely effective and easy to use by hand (just be sure to use a compounding sponge, like Chemical Guys BUFX_202, which is not included). The instructions state there are two ways to use, wipe on/wipe off or simply just wipe-on. I found that the best results are to combine both methods, using the compound between them. Begin with wipe on/wipe off. Apply generously and allow to penetrate for about a minute; you have up to 3-4 minutes to remove the product, so work quickly, in manageable sections. Be sure to use fresh microfiber cloths. For light scratches and old paint, this first step is all you'll need. Use the compound to remove even more scratches, or just reduce the coating to an extremely fine, embedded/nanometer level. For bad scratches, wipe on a second, heavy coat and don't touch. Apply in large, overlapping circles. If you still have very bad scratches or badly worn clear coat, apply another heavy coat. Some people complain that this product makes the finish hazy. The reason is that they skipped the first step (wipe on/wipe off). The solvent dissolves and releases all previous waxes, which float to the surface and leave a haze. It can be removed afterwards with compounding, but this process adds a lot of work. Wipe on/wipe off removes all waxes without much effort. The surface becomes squeaky clean, making the compound much more effective than if you tried compounding a waxed surface to start. By itself, wipe on/wipe off is much more effective than conventional compounding, without all the usual friction, sweat, and wear that thins the overall level of car finish. The results are extremely durable. One year later, the application is as fresh as the day one, so it likely will last many years. A single kit has enough product to do half an entire, 4-door car using the 2-step method I've described.

Works well for light scratches
Works well for light scratches; a deep scratch not so much. It did make the scratch less noticeable the did not make the scratch go away.

Terrible Product
Received some "rocky mountain pinstripes" on my Toyota (scratches from brushing up against trees on an off road trail), and wanted to use this product to fill in the clear coat. All of the scratches were superficial and none went to the bare metal. I followed the preparation instructions meticulously. Applied the product and let it cure over the weekend. After it cured the end result looked terrible and makes me feel awful about the way my Sequoia looks now. The product did not self flatten as promised, was streaked, feels bumpy. I decided to polish the area with a very mild one-step polish and a very mild pad on my DA polisher. To my surprise, the product came off almost entirely except for these random blotches. I'm incredibly disappointed and hate the way it turned out. Do NOT under any circumstances purchase and use this trash on your vehicles. See the pics I'm including for proof.

Piece of mind
This kit works great. Works well for removing “paint transfer” marks and scratches, and the clear coat really diminishes small scratches. Having this on hand provides great piece of mind to know that scratches aren’t a big deal because they can be easily fixed.

Good interim repair
Just started getting some white areas on my hood of my 2017 Tacoma. Easy to use and now the paint is protected and the repair is barely visible
