DENSION DAB+U DBU3GEN WITH FREE DENSION DAB WINDSCREEN ANTENNA DAB1ANT

I bought this to add DAB to my 2013 Audi A4 using the MMI socket in the globe box. The unit was very easy to fit and time in, the hardest part of the job was removing the A pillar cover. Once plugged in it took about 5 minutes to scan the channels. I've got more channels than on my previous car radio. As the makers say there is delay of about 20 seconds when you first switch on or change channels. So far I've not had any drop outs but I've not travelled that far as yet.A very good and less expensive alternative to buying a new radio.

Bought for my Skoda Fabia with RNS315 Stereo/Sat Nav Head Unit. Remember to buy the MDI USB cable if you're fitting it on this unit. Ran wire for the included aerial behind dashboard and up front pillar and affixed the aerial to top of windscreen. Connected up unit which then tucks away nicely in the MDI recess. Remember to switch on the ignition and not just the stereo or else the aerial is not powered. Selected 'Scan.MP3' from settings menu and hey presto, lots of nice didgital radio stations! All crystal clear. Haven't had a chance to try it out on the road yet, but hope reception in Cardiff is good ( meant to be strong as checked on www.ukdigitalradio.com/coverage/postcodesearch/ )All in all running the aerial wire was the most tricky, but not that difficult, the rest was straight forward. Quality product. Very happy.

Easy to install and quite a good bit of kit. However, it takes approximately around 40 seconds to load up and another 30-40 seconds if you change channel. Apart from that great sound.
