Perfect size for a 450 gram cake mix.
After trying with 9" pans and 8" pans, I determined this 6" pan is the perfect size cake pans for cake mixes that are the 450 gram size, such as Miss Jones Organic cake mixes. It's a great small cake for a couple of people when you don't want leftovers from a full size cake with just 2 people in the house. Or, if you're making multiple flavors but want a cake, not cupcakes.

Just what I needed
I was looking for this size cake pan for some specialty cake recipes. I found these and they worked out perfectly. I have others that are harder to get the cake out. These were easier - though I do still lightly grease flour (including sides) and place parchment paper in the bottom for ease of removing the cakes. They cooked very evenly and my cake was a hit.

Could most definitely be user error
In fact I'm almost certain it was user error. The cakes I made in these pans all fell after baking. Granted I'm a new baker, and I tried a new recipe from TikTok... so yeah. But I will say although I did slightly butter the pans before adding the cake mix, the cakes popped right out and all I had to do was run water in the pans to get the thin ring of baked cake mix out of the pans before washing. I would recommend these pans.
