Does the magimix blender manage to blend raw veg like carrot and kale etc?

yes, I have blended frozen carrots as well with fruit. Kale blends well also if added with a couple of portions of fruit. Spinach blends well too as do all salad leaves (really convenient are the bags of salad leaves)

what is the guarantee time?

From the documents in the box - "Magimix Manufacturer's Guarantee ... 3 years parts and labour from the date of purchase ... you must present your proof of purchase"

Does the ice setting get the ice really smooth like a slush puppie consistency?

It does, of course the temperature of the ice will effect consistency but that's how it comes out in mine. No need to add water.

Hi Would I be able to make smoothies with this using spinach and kale and hard vegetables rather than soft fruit. Also if you use apples etc do you have to peel them. one last question - is it worth it Thank you

Yes, you can use hard veggies in your smoothies. I often use carrots, beets, celery, mint, courgettes, etc. No, I would not peel the apples. If you use fruits like blackberries or pomegranate, then expect small flecks of seed in your smoothie. You can drink it, but it is noticeable. It blends well, but not baby food fine as the Vita-mix does (I had one in the US). Last question...If you are going to use this daily and can afford a Vita-mix, I would buy it, but the Magimix is a good 2nd choice.
