I love it. This coffee pot is retro cool (although it looks more "avocado" green than neon green like in the listing.). It is as easy to use as a drip coffee maker, but looks so much more stylish sitting on your counter or serving coffee to guests (it also takes up less space.) It makes coffee about the same amount of time as a drip maker, and it comes out very hot and delicious. I think it is also easier to use in different places like if you want to use it for entertaining you can bring it in the dining room or living room and it is self contained on its little warmer base - it has no water tank like with a drip machine. (And of course you can make a full 12 cups to serve company unlike a Keurig which makes one cup at a time.). I'm looking forward to using this both for my personal, morning coffee - because it is fun - and for entertaining because it makes 12 cups of coffee in a stylish coffee pot that stays warm for two hours.

I didn't like any thing Coffee stay hot and taste soooo good. My husband ask if he could have perculator coffee. Very easy to clean and the price was well worth it.

UPDATE: The plastic knob on the lid corroded and broke after about only 6 months of use. First of all, the fact that it was plastic speaks to the quality of the product. However, what makes the situation worse is that when I wrote the company to order a replacement knob (in hopes they would just send one for free given that I hadn't even owned it for a year), they told me I can order a new one for $20.85 PLUS SHIPPING! Are you kidding me? The whole percolator costs $46! Are you telling me that the tiny plastic knob at the top (which happens to be critical to the function of the product) is worth almost half of the whole product. Garbage. Absolute garbage. I will never purchase from Elite Gourmet again. Terrible company.Original Review: I ordered this based on its appearance. It is kind of old timey looking and it reminds me of my grandma's kitchen. I like that. You can remove it from the base to fill/wash/pour coffee. I really like that. I've always had to plug in and unplug other percolators, and that wears the cord out pretty fast if you drink as much coffee as I do. Two things I don't like: 1. It only warms for two hours, and there is no way to turn the warmer back on without making a new pot of coffee. (This is actually kind of good, the auto shut off feature saves you from leaving it on for days.) and 2. You can't pick it up while it's brewing to pour a quick cup (this is problematic if you need your coffee right away). I've had this for a few months, and it still works. I've never had a percolator keep working after two years, so I'm excited to learn if this thing has what it takes.

There are multiple look-alike units offered from China. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME. The EC922 and WEP1800 perk when initially plugged in (WITH COLD WATER!), and keep the coffee warm when the contents are already warm. Then the liquid-filled container can be removed from the base temporarily (taken into another room, for example) and then returned to the base to keep the remaining contents warm. Look-alike units have the an integral base, and so cannot be separate from the electrical source any further than the cord will reach. My original unit failed after very many years of trouble-free use. I had a very hard time getting a true replacement, having to return integral (one piece) units twice. Then the final replacement developed broken mounting holes inside the base (not initially discovered, and no, I did not tighten them beforehand), but I was able to repair them (glue and great care not to lose the VERY tiny bolts). Then the glass piece on the lid broke, but I was able to glue it back together. I have no idea why it broke, although it obviously experienced numerous temperature cycles in normal use. It did not receive any impact. I await the next challenge! The coffee tastes fine. Good luck! P.S.; If you ever buy and ultimately discard a unit of this type, disassemble the discard and SAVE ALL BOLTS. Tiny, tiny, tiny metric bolts. You are unlikely to find duplicates this side of the Pacific.

I love this percolator! It sits on top of an electric base for electric! I love percolators better than drip but the cords usually corrode at the plug in to the pot and burn up. This pots design eliminates that problem. It’s also a lovely color green!So much go this coffee maker. I have had it 5 months and the bottom heating plate has stopped working. I talked with the company who insured me they would send a new one. I never got it so I called back and they wanted me to take of video of what it’s doing. I threw the heating plate away when they said a new one was on its way. I dot now what a video would do, when the pot was placed on the heating plate nothing happened, no percolation.

It's fast, makes great coffee, and pours beautifully. The only drawback for me is that it's heavy when full, and my arthritic hand and wrist complain about that some mornings.

I have had this coffee pot for 5 1/2 weeks and the glass top has split in half already. If you purchased it on Amazon, the company won’t even let you contact them. They want you to go to Amazon. The representative on Amazon was very nice and gave me a full refund due to the defective part. I have ordered a new coffee pot but , of course, a different brand.

This is a great coffee pot but the cord is too short for most countertops.

Me encanta que no hay que estar conectando y desconectando, la base de carga se queda en su lugar.De buena calidad, prepara muy buen café.La tapa transparente permite ver el avance y eso me encanta, junto con el sonido burbujeante que produce al lanzar el agua hacia el filtro.Yo no necesité usar filtro, pero creo que es cuestión de gustos.Mantiene el café muy caliente 2 horas, eso es bueno si tomas varias tazas.Lo malo es que cunado sobra café y lo deja caliente, al final lo sirve muy concentrado.

Antes de comentar sobre este articulo aprovecho para preguntar si puedo adquirir con ustedes un repuesto de aspa de ventilador de techo Home Decorator collection, Ashby Park de 1.32m (52 in), o bien si me indican a quien me dirijo se los agradeciria.Ahora respecto a la cafetera, es bonita, funcional y se logra el obtener café en poco tiempo inclusive a toda su capacidad que es de 12 tazas.La recomiendo.

Me llegó bien la estuve usando y de repente dejó de funcionar , no volveré a comprar esta marca nunca
