Fitted a few months ago with no breakages yet even with daily use.Deaden very quickly but that’s fine for my style of playing

It changes how you play your guitar. I like their sound and feel. Love them on a telecaster

I bough these for my acoustic Yamaha as I was sick of the squeek you get from round wound strings. Ti my surprise, they actually sound quite good. Not your normal phosphor bronze sound either. The plain strings are rather bright and the wound strings have a sound that majors on the fundamental. Ends up with a similar tonality to reggae bass guitar - but none the worse for that. And I got rid of the squeek as intended.It's worth noting that the G string is wound not plain as in many electric sets.

I agree with many of the negative reviews. I found these strings rough and hard. They seemed unresponsive and soggy leading to fret buzz that was not present before or afterwards when restringing back to roto 10s roundwound. Maybe I had a duff set?Disappointing since I usually rate rotosound highly.

Hele fijne, mooi gepolijste snaren. even goed oprekken tijdens de eerste setup maakt intoneren een eitje. (zou het bijna leuk gaan vinden)

I bought these because they were cheaper than every other flat wound string…I got them for a rubber bridge guitar I am making with a trapeze tail piece. I set the guitar up and basically went insane thinking I stuffed up installing my tailpiece and rubber bridge. Then I took these god awful strings off and put new dadarrio chromes on and every thing worked fine and intonation was great. Do not buy and save yourself a headache
