This definitely met my expectations and was was better than the generic brand. My sash windows are now more insulated.

Great for patio doors and windows
This item really does stop cold air coming into your house through the small gaps in your windows and doors. We felt a significant difference in the places where I had put these in the frames around the house. Really easily to apply and you get a good amount to do about 6 good sized windows. However it is not dog proof, our dog taps at the back door to let us know she wants to go out and over time we had to replace the material due to it being scratched down.

Draught excluder for windows
Used on my double glazed windows where original seals have flattened , use this for a temporary fix and works fine.

Front door draught excluder
Easy to fit. Hold up to frame and cut. Ensure surface is clean, remove backing and stick. Stays on well and cuts down draughts to zero. Used to feel a gale from around door , now nothing.Initially door needed more of a slam but that’s gone now seal had adjusted to door.

It's okay, but ...
Read the other reviews - it's okay, but ... Yes, it's easy to use and to fit, but don't lift it too many times, or it simply loses its stickiness. Don't use it on doors or windows that have to be frequently opened - it just balls up, twists out of shape and is totally useless. Fine, if you want to "fit it and forget it". Across the back of doors it has proved its worth and down the seams where two doors join in the middle, but personally I've had much better results with Aquatic 63 used in conjunction with this product. Aquamac can be shoved easily into gaps, is robust, can easily be cut and shaped to fit and can be nailed into place across door thresholds. Aquamac is hardwearing and does a really great job - even on doors that have to be regularly opened. But I've not used the P Profile product on windows. Verdict - it's ok, but don't expect too much and I think the 5 Year guarantee is a load of old flannel. In my opinion, it will not last five years. No way.

It’s helped a lot
We no longer feel a cold breeze coming in through the closed door. And it’s also helped dampen the sound of the wind, I think, as the slightest breeze used to make me feel like Lillian Gish (a reference no one under 100 will get), but now there’s an embryonic hurricane and it’s actually rather quiet. Fingers crossed I didn’t just jinx myself.
