Must have for any sped teacher with non-speaking students!
This is so an amazing book that is so great to share with my families, staff, and administrators! It explains AAC in a way that everyone can understand! I am SO glad I bought this book and feel this is one of the best investments I’ve made for my teaching career with AAC using students!

BCBA must have
I had three clients on AAC devices (all three started around the same week) so I bought this book to learn a little bit more and collaborated with SLPs by shadowing sessions and meet 1:1 to learn; this book describes everything you see in a speech session and how it helps ABA professionals as well.

Such a valuable resource!!!!
This book is phenomenal. It is organized, in simple language (no jargon), and is perfect for families, school staff, BCBAs, and anyone who has a loved one who strugglez with communication. The book explains what an AAC device is, the various ways to get one, and then how to support the learner in using the device. The authors break down skills with pictures and flow charts. HiGHLY RECOMMEND.
