Teva Men's M Durban Tall-Leather Boot

I don't normally write reviews regarding good or bad products. I bought this boot because it was low profile and I planned on wearing them when riding my motorcycle. I wasnt a teva customer and I didn't particularly like the idea of a zipper on my foot. However, I really liked the style/gray color and for what a paid ($50) I gave it a shot.These boots use surprisingly good leather and i think that is where they focused most of their attention. The zipper works great and it's ease of use has become something I'll look for in other boots for the future. These are literally the most comfortable boots I've ever worn which is because their light weight, easily broken in, but mostly due to the soft out-soles.The one main issue I have is that the soles are made of a soft rubber, which wears down fast when used on a motorcycle. Similar to the soles of women's ugg boots. The sole could also have a more aggressive tread pattern for better grip. The other annoyance is that the leather didn't absorb a silicone water proofing spray that I apply to all my boots.Unfortunately for me, these boots didn't work out for what I intended to use them for. However, I'm seriously considering buying another pair because their that comfortable. Overall, these are high quality, light weight boots and for the price I don't think you can go wrong. The comfort these boots provide is better then other boots triple their price.

I have a pair of Teva's in brown with red soul that I bought about a year ago and absolutely love. They fit great and are extremely comfortable. So I wanted to get another pair just like them in black. While these are identical to the brown ones I love, the laces are WAY to short. I have to remove the laces from the top two holes just to get the length that makes them comfortable and I can tie them. My old brown ones have plenty of excess lace to go all the way up to the top and double tie with little 2-3" loops left. So I'm left looking for longer laces to replace the short ones that these came with. After that, they should be just as awesome as my other older pair.

So far I'm very pleased with these boots after two weeks of wearing them semi-regularly. They're comfortable and light, look great with jeans, are easy to put on and take off with the side zipper, and fit great. They're definitely not a heavy duty work boot, but a as person who splits work time between a downtown city office and out "in the field" on my feet in mixed conditions, I think these boots are great for every occasion. They're light enough to be comfortable all day in the office, but sturdy enough for medium-duty work outside.

Absolutely stoked with my buy. Super comfortable, great arch, infinite ease with the zip. Only thing is the boots are definitely a bit thick, so they are warm and thus only fitting for colder weather. If these break i'll almost definitely get another pair. one small issue is when slipping them on with the zip, it puts stress on the stitching at the corner of the boot because of how the zip is placed, so I will look out for that and hope it can take the pressure overtime i put them on, other than that really great boots

I would not choose this boot for an weekend backpacking expedition. However, I bought it for cold weather wear around town and like duty out doors. The fit is nice, would not be able to get it on without the zippers. I like the snug fit the high lace design gives and the fact that those cuff destroying "speed laces" are NOT used is a real plus for me.

The book is too tight across the top of my foot so I tried to give them to my son who had the same experience. So I gave them to my grandson and he felt the same. I finally took out the full bottom cushion and put in a 3/4 length. It is better, but I lost the padding under my toes. I might try having them stretched. Other than that they are good looking boots, very light weight, and I love the zipper. I've owned Teva shoes for many years and this is my first disappointment.

Cheap product. I miss the good ole' days (lol) where you could find a nice all real leather fashion boot in the mall. I bought these for fashion only not as a work boot as it's clear they are not from the picture and description. Simply putting them on this morning and standing up lead to the cheap zipper breaking. They had been unzipping on their own before that anyway but today it just broke! Very upsetting for $127 d a m n dollars. The leather material feels cheap and thin too. Don't waste your time like I did. I ignored the negative reviews thinking I'd be okay thinking since I'm not a heavyweight (6'5" 210 lbs) they'd be fine. Ignore this review if you want and you'll see.It's the way of the world now. Pump out cheap crap online and hope you don't return it when it fails or the refund date passes before it defects. Very disappointing! >:-(

This is my third pair! They are very comfortable and convenient, with the zip sides. The soft sole is wonderful for walking around. However it does wear out after about a years use. Still very much worth the money.

Love these boots from Teva.I already own a pair of the brown ones with the teal accents and nearly didn't buy these because of the olive colour suggestion ( I thought they might be khaki) - glad I did as they are a fantastic dark brown and are such a classic style. They have metal gear solid/ band of brothers look and much nicer than styles seen on the high street for much more.The sole has limited grip but this makes them easy to clean.Result.

I am really happy with them. They are very comfortable and looking really nice.
