ECCPP 2pcs Liftgate and 2pcs Window Glass Lift Supports Struts for GMC Yukon 1500 2500 for Chevrolet Suburban 1500 2500 for Chevrolet Tahoe for Cadillac Escalade 2000-2004

Fairly priced set of two (2) gas struts for the rear liftgate of my 2000 Tahoe. Took 5 minutes to install and test. Be sure to have a tiny bit of lubricant for the mounting pins, otherwise went extremely well. You quickly realize how much weight these hold when you remove one and the liftgate quickly falls downward!

I bought these for my Tahoe. The liftgate and window were slowly taking a while to lift and would not open completely. I put these on and wow, what a difference! These kept up the gate and the window and opened them up with a very light touch. These are a simple install and made a huge difference. I just needed the liftgate struts but the combined price for both sets made this a no-brainer. If you're having the same issues I would highly recommend these.

The struts work great! It is wonderful not to have my tailgate or the window drop on my head anymore. The price was great and they are actually quite strong. I live in a cold climate and they seem to be doing well in the cold. The only thing I wish that had come with the product was either a page with a link to video instructions or a sheet with simple instructions. I was able to find a video on Youtube if you need help. It's actually quite simple. You do need someone to help you, though, so find a neighbor or a friend if you don't have someone at home to help you.

It fits great and took a couple minutes to install. Don’t put up with the tail gate falling on you anymore.

Bought these a year ago.They are still working strong. Keep some Wd-40 on them and it’s all good in the hood

Works good, really strong. Maybe too strong

Installs super easy less than 5 min both, use flat head screwdriver to pull out retaining tab on old one, then these just pop in place. The issue is these brand new make a scraping-scratchy noise as the door hatch opens as its reaching full extension. Not sure if they need to "break in" for it to go away? Not particularly a big deal but its kind of an annoying noise that takes away from a smooth action actuator. They do keep the door open at maximum no problems. It is what it is I guess. Just my 2 cents for your info. Edit/Update: the scratchiness sound went away after about 10 up and downs. Works perfect now.

These replacements were very easy to remove and install. After I propped up the hatch, I slightly pushed out the metal clips, pulled on the part and they came off easily. 10 minute replacement. They work great!
