After much reviewing of the wide range of garage shelving on offer I decided to purchase Storalex deep garage shelving. I watched the assembly video on You Tube and all seemed to be just what I wanted. Having now purchased the product and assembled it I am quite pleased with it, the racking is quite strong and once fastened to the garage wall it is really immovable.

Shelving is excellent, not too difficult to assemble, and seems strong and stable when put together. However, the customer service was exceptional - I had forgotten to include one item with my order, and they sorted that quickly and easily with zero hassle. Much appreciated

Liked cost and sturdiness. When putting together the slots weren't flush so needed some gentle persuasion to sit inside the slots and not keep sliding outside, so had to keep re-doing which made the job longer than thought it would take.

Great product for the price - free delivery made it good value. Putting shelves together required at least 2 people and make sure you read instructions for locating the "lugs" into position.Somewhat rickety when standalone but great once bolted together and fixed to a wall etc..

The shelving arrived promptly, all of the four parcels contained all parts needed to erect it and the finished shelving is strong although it did take a couple of days to erect the four double height units.

These are OK, they're reasonably priced for what they are but they're not sturdy. I have 2 other sets of racking, these are in the middle for quality, I wouldn't buy these again, I would try to find something more sturdy. Mine are leaning to the side and bent and I haven't put no where near the amount of weight on them that they're advertised for, I only have these for putting excess shopping on that we buy when on offer.

DO NOT BUY. The basic design makes it very difficult to assemble. There are tabs in each piece which have to be inserted into slots in the uprights. There are two tabs to insert and each one has to be aligned correctly. This is very difficult to do without four hands. A screwdriver is needed to push on each one. But that is not the end of the problem. The tabs then tend to splay out and project outside the upright: this also has to be corrected with a screwdriver from the outside, again requiring four hands. This has to be repeated for each corner of each of the five shelves making 40 difficult, fiddly operations in total. My advice is to avoid this product at all costs. In addition, it arrived without one of the horizontal bars needed to complete the top shelf. At that point, I decided I could not face repeating this process with the other three sets which I ordered and decided to return the whole package and claim a full refund. What a waste of time.

Update June 2018.The shelves have bowed so have had to strengthen as bottles etc were falling over. We're talking about 15 degree angle for the dip.Strong. But not reliable. And my garage is dry as a bone.Dropping to 2 stars due to having to fix the shelving myself.Original review.Not new. Ordered 4 of these. Two were brand new. Two were reused. Not much of an issue as they are fit for purpose.Metal is soft and bends out of shape but this softness allows you to bend it back.Would buy more but I think if you are paying for new. You should get new. Not stuff bent. Scratched. Bags torn. Plastic parts popped out and loose.
