Pros:Solid construction (aluminium shell with propper short movement keys and a removable fitted silicone cover to stop keys marking screen)Keyboard is comfortable and easy to use. I was initially weary of the silicone key cover, but does not detract from keyboard feel and I now leave it permenantly on)Excellent fit on my 2017 model bottom of the range iPadVery stylish and in line with Apple styling. Looks similar to a tiny Macbook (lid has circular cutout that lines up with and displays Apple symbol printed on back of iPad)I don't know the life of the battery but it is better than the iPad as I recharge both when iPad needs it, keyboard still going strongCons:Price, though still much lower than Apple keyboard and to my eye/mind similar qualityThe whole thing is quite heavy (probably doubles the weight of iPad) but not uncomfortably so in useOcasionally after iPad has been in sleep mode with an open app, typed characters no longer work (though functions still do so not loosing conectivity). Easily remedied by short tapping power button on iPad.Overall:I am very pleased with my purchase and consider it money well spent. I'm not suggesting that it allows my iPad to completely replace my laptop for everything, but it is good for writing while travelling and my iPad is very well protected in the metal shell case that is a good fit.

I like this keyboard case which fits snuggly with my iPad 5. I chose the silver colour because it goes well with the colour of my iPad. The right hand shift key is too small, and too far to the right, which means I end up pressing the wrong key but with practice I am getting used to it. My previous case for the iPad 4 would allow me to use the keyboard with the iPad in portrait mode. This case does not allow this; you cannot rotate the iPad through 90 degrees within the case. You can rotate the whole case and still use the iPad’s on screen keyboard but the physical keyboard can’t be used.

I bought this for my son to house his school iPad. Six months later and the hinges which connect the top and bottom are broken. The charging mechanism never worked - but to be fair the company offered to change it. If you want the keyboard for once a day use, then probably fine. But not if you're using an iPad all day

Great case until the keyboard died 9 month in ....

This product far exceeded my expectations, I was not sure what to expect in relation to build quality and functionality as I have never ordered a cover and keyboard case. I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic build quality and materials.On opening the box, which is nice enough for giving as a gift, I was pleased to see instructions and a well packaged cover.On placing my ipad in the case I was pleased to note that it fitted correctly and lined up with the buttons on my device.The keyboard is very responsive and a joy to use. The choice of lighting on the keyboard is great for using in dark lit rooms and not having to turn lights on and disturb others. The additional silicone cover for the keys is great for keeping the keys dust free and has the feeling of a notebook when depressing the keys.Truly pleased with the item. Would not hesitate to order again as a gift for a relative.

Lovely smart looking iPad case. The colour changing keypad is a pleasure to use. Quiet efficient well laid out keyboard. Only down side is no screen protector. But a very good product, well packaged and fast delivery.

There are occasions when a keyboard would be useful, facilitating text entry with a feel one is accustomed to, that tactile quality to text entry. This keyboard functions well in that regard, having a keyboard of decent size with a positive touch. Replacing the iPad on-screen keypad a significant area of the screen is recovered for use.As this product is newly acquired, the matter of durability is moot. It seems well put together and robust but only time will really tell. Even then, own use is gentle, far from a use approaching abuse. Some heavy handed users might not judge the durability of the keyboard case in quite the same light.One point regarding the charging indicator on the keyboard case. In use the indicator does not ‘behave’ in the manner described with the instructions. Connected to the charger, the indicator will show a red light. On being fully charged that light will turn from red to green. With my sample, the light, with charger connected and the keyboard case being fully charged does not, as in the instructions have it, go out, but gives a constant green light that only turns off when the charger is disconnected. When opening the case, the indicator light will momentarily show an orange light.
