Great fans, but with some issues
I never normally bother leaving a review but I felt I should as this product has some pros but also some cons. And with things like case fans these need to be addressed.First of all. Fitting the damn things. I don't know who at corsair thought it would be a good idea not to pre thread the screw holes. You have to thread them with the screws which if you are like me and don't have an electric screwdriver is a pain and requires a fair bit of effort. The amount of pressure I put on the fans doing it, I was convinced I was going to break them, and turned a ten minute job of fitting four fans into a 1 hour job. So keep that in mind.Appearance is stunning. I got mine in blue and they match perfectly with my case. The leds are not in the fans blades but are around the interior wall of the fans, and the lighting effect is how it is in the pictures. Genuinely love the look of these. And the biggy. Noise. This is a bit of an odd one. At low RPM's they are super quiet, like. Practically silent, and around the 1,100 mark is when they become slightly audible. But still perfectly fine. However for some odd reason. When they spin up to full wack, it's like the second coming is happening inside your case, they are insanely loud. If you plan on connecting them using molex and having them on full power all the time avoid these fans as they are deafing. Like genuinely absurdly loud, I had stock fans in my case before which weren't the quietest things in the world but they are nothing compared to the racket these things make. However if you are like me and have a fan controller (which i absolutely recommend purchasing, I bought an NZXT sentry 3 and it's perfect for my needs) which means they never really go over 70% speed anyway, these fans would be good for you.Overall. These fans are great. They are a faff to get fitted, and without the right equipment it sounds like a tornado is blowing through your case, but if you have the ability to control their speeds to turn them down a notch they are perfect. Plus. They have lights. Who doesn't like things with lights

Breezy Does It
Brilliant fans do the job perfectly and were an excellent replacement for the fans i originally had in my tower. Barely any noise and fit in really secure, i also have filters fitted so they don't pick up a lot of dust whilst running. 9.5/10

Great fans that do a fantastic job of shifting air.
I bought two AF140 LED fans to go into the top space on my Corsair Obsidian 450D. This case already had two 140mm fans at the front and one at the back and with it being a big case I wanted to extract warm air as quickly as possible. The case is the windowed version and i bought the red led version of these fans and they look superb inside the case casting a nice red glow across the components inside. The fans, as you would expect from Corsair, are of a high quality - they come with 4 mounting screws and a fairly long cable. As previously mentioned, my case is quite big and I actually bought the following extension cable Akasa AK-CBFA01-30 30 cm PWM Fan Extension Cable as some reviews said the fan cable was very short however I didn't use the extension at all as I connected them both to the following Akasa AK-CBFA04-15 PWM Fan Splitter Cable for 2 Fans and then onto the 4 pin connector on the motherboard. In use, and this is playing Battlefield 1, they don't sound too loud - louder than idle but then they are shifting huge amounts of air and being 140mm fans they run slower anyway so not as loud as they could be! However they are NOT silent so don't buy these expecting them to be.For reference I'm running a 4790K cpu with EVO 212 cooler and two fans, R9 270X, 3 HDD, 2 SSD, 16GB ram - so quite a bit of kit in the case. My cpu temps are 28 degrees idle and 60 degrees stressed and case temps are 23 degrees idle and 24 stressed - this is in a room with an ambient temperature of 22 degrees so I'd say overall these are doing a great job of extracting the air from the case.If you have found this review helpful, please let me know by hitting the “helpful” button! or if you have any questions then feel free to ask :)

They look great, but without using software or the bios to control them, they were too loud for me at stock values.
Edit: I did not know this at the time of my first review, but the fans can also be configured using using my bios.On Asus motherboards it's called Qfan tuning. This method works well but still isn't quite as good as using the fan suite 3 software as you can test different settings whilst in the OS, which saves a lot of time and restarts.Because of this I've changed from 4 stars to 5.They are very nice fans for the price but need some tweaking for those who like a quiet PC.Original review below:I have an Asus Maximus Hero VII motherboard and I had to install the AI suite 3/fan expert 3 software in order to gain full control of the fans rpm settings.Make sure to run the fan tuning option when prompted after you first install the AI suite 3 software and run fan expert 3, otherwise it can't detect the full range of rpm the fans are capable of. Personally, I set the fans to RPM fix mode and found my sweet spot of around 650rpm for noise and performance. Do all your fans then save your profile and it should automatically start with windows. There is also a widget that gets installed with the software, but you can just right click the AI suite 3 icon in the task bar and uncheck Asus mini bar to get rid of it.Note: Using fan expert 3 will also change your cpu fan settings when running the fan tuning option. So you will have to re-adjust the fan curve if your cpu temps go up. I had to do this but it was very easy to correct.

Nice fan but...
These fans work really well but the durability is left to be desired.
