Brilliant little heater, once you figure out how to use it. I've got a home office in a shed and wanted something to keep it warm in the day and frost-free at night without running up a huge electric bill.I keep the required temp set at 8deg. In the day I turn the save mode OFF which keeps the heater ticking over in the background, and the room gets to a comfortable 18-20deg. At night I turn Save mode ON which means the heater turns itself on and off as required to maintain the 8deg as set.The instructions say the heater will automatically turn off after 65hrs, but that's 65hrs of *constant* burning, and letting it turn itself on and off at night prevents that happening.So, once set up, it's just a matter of topping up the paraffin tank every couple of days or so (I do this while it's still on - don't know whether I should or not) and turning Save mode OFF in the morning and ON again at night.

exelent product will heat a large room easily set timer to have room warm when you get up will turn off when room gets to hot and back on when it gets below set temperatur auto stop if knocked built in carbon monoxide detector turns off if not enough ventilation have had older modle for at least 15 years with out any problems this is to replace old one whitch eventualy went wrong so just replaced it but do make sure you can get a good local supply of parafin from a pump as to buy preepacked is far to expensive i have a local gaage with a parain pump ps little or no smell fom the parafin do not compair it with old type of heaters once it is running and up to temp you would not think it was burning parafin

I have just had the heater for a few days. It gives out excellent, solid, tick heat. Just what I wanted. There are a few things I am not happy with, I comment on those below. I still this is the best alternative heater available in the UK that is not going on electricity.- The manual. Simply just awful. It brings you back to the early 80s command interface. The reseller should take a quick look at the manual and update it. Even with the existing interface, an easier and better manual should be provided.- It did not come with a UK El socket. I had to cut Euro plug off and fit a UK El socket.- It comes with a four-year warranty. I have not read the conditions. I assume the unit require regular or yearly service for the warranty to be valid. I might be out of warranty already since I altered the el. socket. I have jet to receive a list of service centres in the UK that can perform the yearly or second-yearly service.I cannot say anything out paraffin consumption. The unit is very quiet, give out no smell, and give a nice steady flow of hot air. I expected it to have a thermostat, that turned it on and off when needed during the day. It the heat builds up in the room, at present I manually turn it on and off. It comes back to the poorly manual.I will still recommend the product.

Brilliant heater but delivered with a foreign plug which is unacceptable. Also the fuel can has clearly been used before as it smells of paraffin and has scratches all over it. Impossible to find out how to correspond with the supplier. We alternative is just to send the whole thing back. Rather frustrating as I have another one which is brilliant

Item only arrived a couple of days ago but very pleased with the item so far. Central heating packed up a couple of weeks ago and have been using an industrial heater to heat the house which has been eating through the electric at an astonishing rate. This heater throws out an astonishing amount of heat for its size and is a lot more economical than using electric heaters.

I was a bit sceptical about buying a paraffin heater. But I can honestly say it was a good decision to buy this heater. I put the heater on full for 4 10 minutes in the morning at the weekends and then the rest of the day I put on minimum low setting and it just ticks over nicely all day.. and it doesn't burn as much fuel... I think it's worth paying that little bit extra for this product...

good for the first year , now the little fuel pump inside the tank is failing, and no body will even reply to emails, and i cant seem to find a new pump, so be aware terrible after sales service, or none as it is. In the end amazon came thru for me and refund was issued.

Very nice heater. Heats room quite quickly just a bit disappointed with the burning hours only lasted for 2 days and not in use all day was expecting 4 days of heat (didn't expect continuous use) before paraffin tin on empty.Didn't understand the statement after continuous burning of 65 hours automatically shuts down? There is no chance to burn continuously for 65 hours if the can only holds enough paraffin for 16.4 hours. It would be nice to have that statement explained by someone.
