This stand works great and makes great chicken.

This blows every other stand we've used out of the water! It holds the perfect amount of liquid while you're smoking, there is absolutely no wobble once you've got the chicken on it, the base is so steady. It comes clean so easy, we've used it multiple times and it still looks new. Great product at a great price, 10/10

We used this the first time we used our Kamado Joe Classic and it is wonderful! It held a 6 lb chicken without difficulty (no leaning or falling over or balance issues) and cleaned up without needing to scrub it. I did soak it for a bit in warm soapy water, and it came clean without having to scrub. Has generous interior capacity: we used fresh herbs (sage, rosemary, thyme) and garlic cloves, and it would still allow a good 10-11 oz. of liquid in addition to the herbs.

You cannot do without this cooking stand if you want to grill a whole chicken and use beer to keep the bird moist. What I like of this ceramic one is the ease of cleaning. The metal cooking stand works fine but it takes a lot of effort to clean and I know because I own both. I use Pam to spray the ceramic stand and especially on the bottom where grease easily bakes on. A next time I plan on trying a turkey and if it is not large I expect that it will be supported by the Kamado Joe. A must item for the grilling enthusiast.

The media could not be loaded. Very easy to use and extremely sturdy. We use this at least twice a month for our beer can chicken on our Kamodo Joe!

Superb. We used to use a stand for beer-butt-chicken. This device does a better job for holding marinade. Durable. Cleans up with soap and water or can go through the dishwasher. We place it in a small Webber aluminum pan nd cook on indirect method in a Webber charcoal kettle grill. Perfect, flavorful chicken every time. I highly reccomend. have owned this for over one year.

This is ideal for placing herbs and spices and of course beer in the base. I’ve used it twice and it’s easy to clean and holds a whole chicken upright easily I think it adds flavor and moisture as advertised.
