This is a very decent facsimile of the bag it is imitating. It will not fool someone who has a real one, for three main reasons: one,it is larger than the ‘PM’ size but smaller than the ‘GM’ size. Two, the trim/stitching is not high-end. By this I mean the sheen of the thread is wrong, the stitching in places (especially on the inner ‘pouch’) is TERRIBLY crooked on the one I received and the ‘leather’ trim other than the actual handles is very cheap, not edged properly (the edges are glazed and look sort of ‘rolled’ on a real piece).Three, the chevron pattern is not spaced exactly like a real one; the chevrons do not touch the way they should, though from a distance it is not obvious.However, it IS the right color (I bought the dark green) and the logo painted into the chevron is pretty much correct. The handles do look like leather and this particular one is ALMOST as floppy/slouchy as the real one is.I have others that were better as far as the trim & pouch construction goes but the canvas-like material was much stiffer and holds a shape. (it’s not supposed to)The chevron pattern DOES look handpainted; not all the dots are exactly the same and they are raised slightly like dots of paint would be.The interior looks very real and the pouch is attached to the main bag in the same way as the real version.What I’m saying is, if someone who has a real one is standing next to you in line, they will be able to tell your bag is not authentic because of the chevrons not touching, the trim, and the size.If they have never seen one in person or they are not right next to you you are likely to pass it off.I purchased acrylic paint in the same colors as the chevron pattern and added dots with a very fine brush freehand in the appropriate spots to make the chevrons look completely real.This was VERY time consuming (and quite difficult on the interior pockets of the pouch) and then coated the fabric with two layers of Fiebings Bag-Kote in ‘clear’ to keep the new acrylic dots from scraping off or dissolving in rain.My bag consequently looks quite real as far as the print goes and is really only betrayed by the poor quality of trim and size. Well, I can just not pull out the pouch in public, and the trim is only obvious if you are very close. I suppose if I were motivated enough I could take it to a leather repair shop and have it restiched. So that leaves size. Mine is 21 inches long (at the top is where you measure), 11&1/2 inches tall and about 5 & 1/2 inches deep. A real GM is 23x13x7 and a PM is 19x11x6. Well, there’s nothing you can do about that, is there.But when it’s folded up on your arm it will ‘pass’ pretty easily as the PM. If you bought the PM size, I guess you could try and pass that off as the Junior, which is not made anymore.I wish they would sell an actual GM size, it’d be beautiful.But meanwhile, this is a decent facsimile at a tiny fraction of the very high-end price of the real McCoy.EDIT: as for the oft-noted odd smell, companies that ship by boat OFTEN add a repellent so that bugs and rodents which are inevitably on a big ship and hanging out around the containers at the docks, , will stay away from the product. It’s usually a trademark sort of ‘fishy’ odor. It DOES go away when you air it out and this should not be considered a defect. I’ve smelled this on retail items in regular retail stores- fresh off the docks apparently!! Even high-end bag houses spray their shipments down with pest repellent if they are shipping this way. They usually just make sure the bag is well aired before retailing it. No, I don’t ‘like’ the idea, but most shippers do it, so it’s kind of just something to accept. Better than bugs or rats peeing on/chewing on stuff, really.

1. It's lovely quality, but the proportions are off. Size is longer than stated and shorter than stated, So it's very rectangular and the luxury buyer will know its imitation.2.color is aqua, not really a light blue. Photo looks more blue, it's turquoise!

This bag came SUPER fast! I wasn’t expecting it to arrive so quickly. It’s actually a very beautiful bag. I was a little skeptical about designer inspired handbags but this one is pretty close. There is an odd scent though but if you can get over that then it’s a great $50+ spent!

For the price of this bag, it’s a great dupe. I was actually shocked by the quality - it was better than I anticipated, especially after reading a few harsh reviews.I just took it out of the packaging, a bit lifeless and bent but I’m sure after a few uses it will gain some shape. I was nervous about it having a harsh smell, however mine is odorless.One downside is that a it the threads are just fraying a very little bit along on the handles. But, you get what you pay for :) will be a great carryon bag.

I was hesitant to open the package, fear of being unhappy and low and behold! Not a single flaw! I’m loving it and will order more! I took a chance on the color and I love it!!!

I wasn't expecting too much-but I was very pleasantly surprised!! It is really cute and roomy! And arrived much faster than predicted

the strap is way way to short for the average person. The overall feel of the bag is pretty good but the lack of a decent strap made this item not usable for me.

I ordered the khaki colored tote in medium and was pleased with what I got. I like the color it is a nice neutral to pair with many things and the size is perfect for me as well. Thank you for sending me a nice tote.
