Used this for my carnivorous Venus flytrap, and it’s been great so far. Light, clean, and helps keep the soil conditions just right. Would recommend for anyone with moisture-loving plants!

The only kind of peat moss I use. This mixed with the Harris soilless potting blend is a recipe for success in every single one of my plants. I have 100+ plants, mostly Alocasia and haven’t lost a single one since using this.

Small bag. But great quality in bag. Great for spiders. Fine grain.

I use peat moss when I mix my own African violet and succulent mix. Excellent quality peat that just looks rich and healthy in the bag. It functions as the base, 50-60%, of my soilless mix for both plants. I didn’t realize the size of the bag, and it’s a small quantity for my needs because my mixes are mainly made of peat. The bag was no costly, but I needed way more of it than what I bought. I’d need more of a bulk bag to suit my needs. Next time I need it, I will be shopping around and hopefully this product comes in larger quantities. It’s a good and quality product, I need more quantity.

I like the fact that I could buy small amount. Worked as needed.

The size of the package is extremely small. This is only about 2-3 cents worth of product that they are selling for 7 dollars. What a freakin' rip off. $7 worth of product is normally about a 3 foot cube in size, not a bag the size of candy. This is an insane and disgusting rip off. NOT WORTH THE COST!!!!!! Shame on you for selling a dime worth of material for $7.

I used this to put in my Tarantula enclosure in the substrate. It seems that I am very allergic to it and it triggered my asthma. I had to completely change the substrate at 3:30 am. Not fun. I don't do plants, so I can't say how it works. It looked like potting soil. I have heard others use it for their Ts as it is supposed to be good. I would suggest a person check for allergies before putting it in. Something I never would have expected to be allergic to. I do have allergies to various things. It's not the products fault.

I bought one of those store packaged venus fly traps, but read how to take care of it beyond the packaging that came with the plant, hence my purchase of this peat moss. The plant is thriving and growing new traps continuously. I will buy this again after the plants winter hibernation when it's time to repot.
