Y’all! I wasn’t sure about this little gadget but it had great reviews and wasn’t expensive so figured I’d try it. Haven’t had dental insurance in several years and my teeth have always been generally healthy so I’ve skipped going to the dentist. I have a great sonicare toothbrush that I use with Arm & Hammer toothpaste and my teeth feel really clean after brushing, so figured that would ward off dental issues. Then I started having terrible pain and lots of bleeding on the left side so I knew a dentist trip was necessary, but wanted to do a little extra maintenance before going. My lower front teeth are skinnier at the gum line and wider on top so there are little crevices where I knew tarter can build up on the back of them, but I had no idea how much was there until I used this tool. I was shocked by how much ick I got off those teeth. Then when I moved to the side that was giving me trouble, I got another fairly large piece off and could see how red my gums were there with the handy little mirror. Honestly, I was a little afraid to use it in that area because I thought it would hurt. It was surprisingly gentle on my teeth and completely stops when it hits your gums so it was no problem. Since that was removed and I’ve been rinsing with antiseptic mouthwash for 30 seconds at a time at least twice a day, my pain has diminished quiet a bit and my gum redness has decreased by about 60-70 percent in a couple of days. The bleeding when brushing is almost gone too. I really can’t believe the improvement. I still need to see the dentist, but now I won’t be so embarrassed and I’m not in screaming pain until I get in, plus will probably save some $$ since there’ll be less work. I’m really amazed at how good this little tool works. Truly some of the best money I’ve ever spent.TIPS:1. This is a big one based on my experience and comments I’ve seen about changing the cleaning heads. You have to use the tiny wrench provided and turn very hard counter clockwise to get the original tip off. There is a groove on the tip that the wrench fits to. Don’t be afraid that you are going to break it, it is really screwed on tight but it will come off. Myself and my husband tried turning & pulling straight out with no luck before I contacted the seller. Their customer service was very responsive. They gave me the information I listed above and said they would send a new one if I couldn’t get it off. We tried again with the wrench and my husband putting full strength into it since we knew they would send a replacement if it broke, and it finally came free. Then you can just not screw the replacement tips in as tightly. They should really include this information in the kit but at least customer service was extremely helpful.2. Spit frequently when using - do not swallow! You are breaking loose tons of bacteria in your mouth and you don’t want that stuff going into your digestive tract. Even if you don’t break large pieces off, if you can taste/feel something powdery while you’re using it, that’s still bacteria laden residue you are getting off, it’s just not as much buildup.3. Rinse your mouth for at least 30 seconds with an antiseptic mouthwash after using this to help kill all that bacteria that was underneath everything you cleaned off.4. This is a powerful little cordless tool that will get the job done, but if you have lots of buildup it may take a few times of use to get everything off. I used it for 5-10 minutes several times throughout the day instead of trying all at once. It took 3-4 times to totally remove everything from my front lower teeth. I just used it each time I made a trip to the bathroom. Why fatigue your mouth and hand grinding away when you don’t have to?5. Use the mirror provided in the kit and shine the light from the tool in your mouth. It really helps to see where you have issues and spots you still need to work on. And it’s really rewarding to see when your teeth are all clean!6. Don’t be frightened by the picture posted saying this tool ground through their teeth. There’s no way that happened from this unless they have some other serious issues going on, super soft teeth and just ground on them for hours. Besides that, I’m pretty sure they’d be in immense pain grinding through their teeth like that. Who would be able to do that to one tooth, much less several like the picture shows?If you’re even thinking you might need this, just put it in your cart now. You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve honestly been so insecure about my teeth for many years! As a kid I was forced to take medication that messed my teeth up causing calcium and plaque build up on my bottom front teeth. I hated smiling and was always self conscious of the way they looked! I regret not taking a before pic because posting just an after pic wouldn’t do any justice! Believe the ones that did post them! If you’re thinking of buying this, DO IT NOW! This literally changed my life! I can’t stop smiling and looking at my teeth! It exceeded my expectations! Probably the best purchase I’ve made from Amazon and I’ve spent thousands of dollars on random things lol. This tool is really priceless! I am shedding happy tears because this really changed everything for me. It provided an instant confidence boost! If I could personally thank the person that made this, words wouldn’t be able to express how thankful I am for them making this!

Bought this plaque remover for my special needs kiddo. The dentist is super stressful for him with all the noise the machines make. So, he never gets a good cleaning. This has helped me to remove build up between his regular 6 mon cleanings. He tolerates the low sound it make. It really removed the plaque that was caked on. It truly does cut off it you touch the gums. I live the manual tools that come with it as well. I feel like a hygienist.

So.... It's embarrassing to post my shark teeth, but after seeing what one go through of the remover did for me I was literally stunned. All the plaque behind my front chiclets is gone. It broke off/out and I spit, rinsed, and went through again. Gums bled just a bit but that's expected with breaking up hard plaque. Didn't hurt AT ALL, even though I was hella nervous at first. This plaque had been plaguing me for years and I was sick of the pain the dentist caused. If you're still debating, don't. Just do it.

Saved myself a trip to the dentist, AGAIN!Just had a cleaning back in Dec and had some plaque growing on my bottom teeth. This time, not too bad like what I had in Dec! This is definitely a game changer! A little bit of bleeding occurred but that’s only because of the Plaque irritation on the gums! I would definitely recommend if you don’t have a lot of plaque! Still might want to take a trip to the dentist to be extra secure but this is definitely a must get!
