Does not alter original colour of the wood much
Love this - used it on our oak veneer doors and the change of color was minimal, it remain nice light oak color with mat finish. Easy to apply and does not smell so I recommend

Furniture looks like new
I had some 20-year-old oak furniture that had worn patches and watermarks that I wanted to keep. I bought a small pot of this to try and it in the "flat" type. It looked great, and I bought a larger bottle to do a display cabinet and a sideboard.I prepared the large flat surfaces with a belt sander and cleaned thoroughly. The first coat was absorbed quickly into the wood, very light sand by hand a couple of days later and a top coat left the furniture looking like new! The varnish can be applied in thin coats that leave the wood looking and feeling lovely.I've now refurbished a chest of drawers, a sideboard, and a display cabinet. I'm planning to do the dining table and a coffee table soon. It is so easy to use.

Great for sealing paint
Ordered several times. It works to seal paint to stop the paintwork getting dirty. It’s also good for mixing glitter to apply a top coat. Definitely recommend this product.

Good product but not right for my job
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for varnishing a wood and resin board. I followed the instructions but was unable to fully get rid of the brush marks even after sanding. This was not ideal as I was looking for a smooth, flat finish. However, I believe it would work well on a surface that does not need to be dead flat such as hand painted furniture.

Great for furniture upcycling
Tried Polyvine Wax Varnish for the first time on painted furniture and loved it. Easy to apply, light covering and I put 2 coats on the top and dragster frames for added protection. Has a lovely sheen when dried. Have used it over Annie Sloan chalk paint and mineral furniture paint and works great on both. Prefer this to the Annie Sloan wax.

Wax finish without the hassle
Having painted a table with chalk paint, I wanted to protect the surface without using wax. This varnish looks just like PVA glue and dries to a lovely soft finish which gives the appearance of wax without all the hard work. Can't comment on how well it wears as have only used the table a couple of times but, so far, so good.

Great On Painted Walls
Used the Polyvine as an overcoat on painted walls (Matt emulsion). Leaves a nice finish and protects really well. great value for money, covered 2 x shelves, cupboard and 4 lounge walls and still have some left. Good value for money, would recommend.
