Sonos Era 300 - White - Wireless, Alexa Enabled Smart Speaker with Dolby AtmosRecycled Content Certification for Electrical and Electronic Equipment

I wanted an audio system for the living room that the whole family could share. I was really skeptical about whether a single speaker, fed by compressed streamed audio would sound good. I had tried a bookshelf system based on a FOSI-brand amplifier and this wasn't powerful enough while also having the disadvantage of multiple parts and cables. I considered other wireless speakers but I knew of the Sonos brand and thought I would try it. I could not believe how GOOD this speaker sounded. One unit was all I needed. I really thought I would need two to get a full sound (stereo, right?). Bass reproduction exceeds expectations for a wide range of music types. We have used it inside and outside. I bought the optional metal stand (the Sonos-brand one). The speaker looks good and pretty much disappears into the room. I have it located in a corner to take advantage of reflections and bass resonance. I have considered buying the matching sub and a second speaker, but I don't really need these for my application. I did set up the Sonos Wi-Fi, but most of us use the speaker with a Bluetooth connection. Set-up was easy and I had the unit up and running in minutes.

Sound quality is superb!! They look absolutely gorgeous! Was easy to install and connect.

This is a heavy and somewhat awkward-looking and cumbersome speaker that falls in size and weight between the Sonos One and Sonos Five -- but with a dramatic improvement in sound and faultless connectivity.I got a pair of these to replace smaller and older Sonos Ones I had been using for years as rear surrounds in my home theater. I also looked at the Era 100s, but for the size and shape of the room, wanted more oomph.These are now matched to a Sonos Arc and Sub and provide an even more robust surround sound -- improving on Dolby Atmos and other HD content. The sound reproduction is so good that more than once I have heard a door open or some other sound behind me only to discover it is "just the TV".

Fantastic little speaker. The auto calibration software is pretty good, which means it’s very flexible in different acoustic environments. Able to select the speaker in my devices on Spotify to easily control music playing on the speaker from my phone’s Spotify UI.

Useless pile of plastic garbage. Worked for 2 months and now has some sort of fault. Pretty expensive paper weight. Not pleased at all with this Sonos brand.

This speaker is awesome. Great sound that fills the room. Very happy with the purchase.

SONOS is an outstanding brand. I just miss a bit of bass, the rest is great

Love Sonos, it’s a great product, works great on its own but shines when paired with a subwoofer. Dolby atmos audio is especially great, so make sure to use the Sonos app to get the most out of it.
