Andis FINALLY GETS IT!
First of all, let me express that I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL BARBER.That being said, as a home barber, I do believe in purchasing professional grade barber equipment, the purpose of longevity. There are a lot of new companies getting into the trimmer game, but I buy Andis because they have been around for many years, and have a proven performance record in many professional settings. And most of all, I don't have to worry about finding replacement parts.I have been a long time Andis customer; over 38 years in fact. Although I prefer Wahl clippers, Andis trimmers have always been my go-to. I like their simplicity, blade interchangeability, precision, and most of all power. The price that barbers are charging has gotten out of hand, so I tend to buy clippers and trimmers that I will use 20 years or more. I don't mind spending a bit extra to get professional grade equipment, because the money I save not getting hijacked by the barber more than justifies my rationale.I tend to give myself a full cut and trim about twice a month, but decided to touch up my cuts once a week now. This trimmer will allow me to accomplish that.I did a lot of research before deciding on the Andis T liner GTX clippers. In all honesty, my hair is very short, so these blades are probably overkill. I decided to buy these anyway, just in case I ever decide to grow a beard or grow my hair out.I was very skeptical of buying cordless trimmers, simply because my Andis Outliner II trimmers have been a workhorse for over 30 years. The Outliners are almost impossible to get rid of because of their performance and reliability. The Andis GTX t liners have been a pleasant surprise so far. Right out of the box, they are already sharp. I was looking for these clippers to not have to solid quality feel of the Andis corded models, but I was surprised. These clippers are very solid, and feel great. My main reason for purchasing these trimmers is that I wanted to be able to move around without having to worry about the cord getting caught on something. These trimmers are a part of my lineup. I use the Wahl Magic clips for my main fade. I then use the Outliner II for my forehead line-up. I use these T liners for my edges, neckline, mustache and beard. And finally I use the Andis foil shavers to bald fade. These four units could hold their own in ANY barber shop setting. Finally, when I say that Andis FINALLY gets it, I mean that most people that buy the regular T liners like to modify (skeletize by cutting away the upper portion of the clipper). Andis has already done that with this clipper, and it REALLY looks cool and sleek.Hopefully, these blades will give me many years of performance, but when it comes time to replace them, I feel confident that I will be able to do so with minimal effort.

Perfect cordless trimmer to bald my head.
As someone who started shaving over 20 years ago, I’ve tried a variety of razors and trimmers to keep myself fresh and clean. I started with a Mach 3 razor at age 17 before going to the military academy, but eventually moved to double-edge safety razors in 2014 to combat ingrown hairs and razor bumps. After leaving the military and growing a beard, I tried everything to shave my head as I started losing my hair around age 28 -- razors, DE safety razors, foil trimmers, you name it. Eventually, because my scalp is also super sensitive, I decided to just use the tried and true Andis T-Outliner that every barber uses to give you that bald cut when razors will give you the volcanic eruption of razor bumps on your head.I've been through maybe three different sets of corded T-Outliners, and eventually stumbled upon these when looking for something without a cord so that I could get that 360 bald cut done quickly before work in the morning without having to do the tango with a cord. These Andis GTX EXO outliners are GREAT! Same quality, bald, low cut as my corded trimmers without the hassle of a cord, and they hold a good enough charge to be able to throw them in my suitcase for a weekend trip so I can stay looking my best while away from home. I also like that they already come from the factory with the "skeleton" cut, reducing vibration and allowing freedom of movement of the teeth of the blades, getting a lower, smoother cut without the need to zero gap the blades.Definitely give these a try - I think you'll like them for all uses: shape ups and line work, beard trimming, and for my men out there who are trying to keep a good baldie without tearing your head up with a traditional razor, this is the ticket.

Nice and convenient
The clipperr is incredibly convenient to use. Having cordless clippers eliminates dealing with cords or being tied to an outlet. They don’t match the power of corded trimmers but they definitely get the job done, and the convenience makes up it.the skeleton-style design looks great and makes cleaning much easier since you can get to every part without a struggle. These clippers also feel very premium in their build quality and performance. The battery life is good. I can cut my hair bald at least 20 times before I need to recharge. The charging base is also a nice touch.
