Spot on accuracy BUT!
First off, the accuracy is spot on, the only thing that (in my opinion) lets it down is- the slot in the wooden part does not fit flush against the metal blade part, there is a gap on either side, which is going to get filled with saw dust and what not, apart from that, it is very nicely finished- shame. Not sure whether to return it, would like to know if others are the same- if that is the case, not much point in returning it, as accuracy is the crucial thing, not aesthetics!

Accurate.
It's difficult to measure the accuracy of a square, as long as it's reasonably accurate, meaning within about 0.1 degree. This certainly is within that, which is an acceptable result for this money. Hopefully it should last for years. Having said that you have to be a little careful with "blue" items in that the "blue" is not scratch resistant and the moment you do scratch it, it will start to rust. I wish they would use a more modern approach but they like sticking to tradition for some reason.

Lasted 4 years and then...
...see the attached picture. In year 4 both of the squares I bought split as shown. I don't know whether they only have a 'life expectancy' of four years, or that I was just unlucky. However, I'm not sure I would buy these again as there is evidently a possibility that the same problem would recur. The split makes me doubt the integrity of the device to do it's job properly.

Great value
Seen some slag offs with this but mine is square itβs well made and ideal. Yes it will get replaced in 12-18 months with daily use but for the money what do you want!

Draper Try Square
Just received the Draper Try square and I am happy with the qaulity, I have checked the accuracy and it's spot on.

Okay for the job but rather flimsy

No quality control! Wildly out of square! Returned.
Looks good in the picture and description but --- bad design, manufacturing and finishing and no quality control at the factory --- absolute train crash! Item had dinks, surface lumps and discolorations. Metal blade was not even parallel from side to side (how do you even do that!!!!) and there was material in the inner corner of the joint (glue?). All covered in a thick layer of grease to attempt to disguise the evident imperfections ---- absolutely everything that can be wrong is! How can any manufacturer make something this bad? Didn't expect engineering precision but this item was wildly untrue in every way and unfixable (see picture) . Avoid. Really puts me off Draper as a brand......
