It still shines far in a room while providing enough light even at the lowest setting.As for the color options, you do get more via the app. You’ll see a whole RGB color wheel where you can pick any shade, but I’m going to be honest … you’re not going to see every color. It’s still a bit limited as some colors lack with how they show.For example:If you want to see a coral or peach tone, it will just show red or orange just at a different brightness, light pastel pink or lilac appears a more deep purple shade or hot pink, any teal or mint tones will just go blue or green with no in between. There will be no pure white tone as it will always have a yellow hue like a soft warm lightbulb. The RGB wheel makes it seem like there are millions of shade combos, but nah’ it’s limited with a preselected mixture.However, there’s still enough shades to choose from through the app using the color wheel that you can get a good match for whatever mood you’re in…If you’re unable to get the app, the remote itself still offers a decent selection to quickly change things.As for the item itself, it feels pretty sturdy and has decent weight to it. Doesn’t feel like cheap flimsy plastic. The height that is shown with the tripod is as high as it will go — it isn’t adjustable. Only the legs and swivel for the light itself is adjustable to put it at certain angles.
